I would have to say my faith is dwindling every month this season. We're only two months in so, he has time.

It's rather sickening at this point how people are rejoicing that the kid is struggling. Like anyone here thought he was a superstar. Most RJ fans recognize what he is and are willing to give him time. These milk lickers that are puffed up about him playing poorly can eat a bag of moldy dicks.

Come on.. nobody is enjoying RJ's inconsistency. I think the majority of us was hoping that he takes it to the next level and become a fringe All-Star player. If that were to happen, we would be in consideration of top 3 talks. Just his consistent play would take us to another level. That hasn't happened and he has shown that he is inconsistent.

I think his comparison is Andrew Wiggins. Highly rated prospect coming out of HS, drafted very high and hasn't really lived up to those expectation. Maybe a new team that wants him to be the main guy will help him (see Detroit or Utah).

Our clock is ticking with Brunson and Randle not on a max contract. It is best to find that max player and then Brunson and Randle will ask for the max contract.

Well...when people who support him say anything positive about him, in come the hate brigade to make it seem like people are being unreasonable. When in fact it is unreasonable to give up on a 19 year old kid from day 1. No one thinks he will be a star but, people are rooting for him to become consistent/efficient at what he does. He hasn't gotten there yet. Which is why I bring up the Randle comparison. He was just as bad as RJ his first five years. Then had an uptick as a backup in NO and then we got him.

He was awful his first year. Good the second year...year 7... when he got MIP/All Star/All NBA nods. Then he chokes in the playoffs and was awful the following year. Then he had another good season and was ass in the playoffs again. Injury or not. Then he came in as the worst player in league history and turned it around the last 11 games or so.

The lack of patience and out right condescending attitude towards anyone rooting for RJ is annoying.

PS...I would trade him if a deal came along but, until then he's on my team and I root for him to put it all together. Maybe get to a Khris Middleton level one day soon. His clock is ticking with the rest of the team, as you point out. In the meantime, let's go RJ!

Nobody wants to see him fail. We all want him to play well. He can have some good games but overall he hasn't played well and it's up to you to accept that reality or live in denial.

It is admittedly not totally unpleasant to see some of his obnoxious fans (not referring to people like Deeeez) scramble for answers. The line was crossed on many occasions and there's sweet irony in seeing their arrogance backfire. But that's them, not RJ.

The only lesson here is on how people choose to handle disagreement but I have no illusions regarding that.

I only live in reality. I don't have to scramble for answers either because I have been a realist about him the entire time. So have most of the people who have to deal with his detractors trolling. Those same people would have given up on Randle 5 years ago. Ironically, most of the RJ hate club are Randle fans today.

The only lesson here is that a bunch of jerk offs root against our players to satisfy some weak ass whack ass agenda.

Your argument was that people rejoice in him sucking, which I don't think is true at all. Just because someone accurately assesses that a player hasn't been good doesn't mean they're rooting against them.

I am however glad that some people who were obnoxious about him haven't been validated.

All your aggressive posting was for nothing. Imagine calling people "clown" over RJ.

If you insult someone over their basketball opinion and as time goes by it seems like they were right, the only right thing to do is to admit you were wrong :D

Only needs to work on his bball iq, passing, defense, mid range, 3 point shot and finishing to be a good player.

They have no problem spamming **** Randle every day for the past 4 years and rejoice in his struggles but we’re bad fans for saying rj has been a disappointment

R_ returns. The burden of being right on everything but Frank weighs me down.

That's always been the excuse.

'wHy yOu hATe yOuR OWn PlaYErs?!'

Nobody hates R_ or Ran_le. They just hate watching them ruin games. I hate watching RJ stumble into the lane and get blocked exactly like he did his rookie year. He was unathletic, had a bad handle, was a mediocre passer and couldn't shoot at all at Duke. Nothing has really changed other than his paycheck.

Not even close. Wiggins was lazy and unmotivated in Minn but he is in another athletic stratosphere. Same with the DeRozan comps. Those two blow RJ out of the water on raw talent.

RJ is a shorter Paul Pierce in terms of athleticism. But he can't shoot and has 1/10th the craft and post game.

He's Gerald Henderson after his knees got creaky.

Because everyone who hates RJ always admits that they're wrong about something, too. Yep. It's only the RJ stans who are delusional. Definitely not the guy that still thinks Randle won't choke in the playoffs, or the guy who thinks Mitch Robinson can be relied upon.

The ironic thing is that I try to hold back most of my opinions about RJ to protect the feelings of his fandom. I don’t go out of my way to dunk on him when he has a bad game, it’s actually the opposite, I try to dial back criticism as much as I can. I don’t do this with any other player other than RJ because so many people here like him for reasons unbeknownst to me. I hesitate to even post my trade ideas if they involve RJ. So this idea that people couldn’t wait to attack him over a bad game is just hilarious to me. If I said what I think about this dude (which still wouldn’t be half as bad as the way people discuss Randle every day) they’d probably send me on a trip to Belize with jimmit

All I can say is that I’m sorry this is happening
