If Queta is the only center tonight vs Orlando, how many minutes does he play?

Porzingis is doubtful. Horford and Kornet are out. Dave Cowens retired a while ago. Likely, the only center available is Neemias Queta. How many minutes does Queta play tonight?

His career high in MP is 24 minutes. But considering we don’t have any other big and by this time he’s already fully emerged (as opposed to just emerging a week or so ago), 48 minutes is a reasonable expectation.

32 mins if he doesn’t foul out first. 16 mins we just wing it with the center position using Stevens/Brissett/Tatum.

If Queta ends up being the only Center, then he has to go 30+mins.
Even if Porzingis plays, Queta likely goes over his previous high.

I thought queta was injured again. I hope he’s a go! This is going to be tough no matter what tho.

With Porzingis, Horford and Kornet all expected to be sidelined, Boston’s depth chart will be put to the test against an Orlando roster with plenty of bulk in their frontcourt. Two-way center Neemias Queta could get a starting nod for the matchup while reserves Oshae Brissett and Lamar Stevens will likely soak up some of the center minutes as well. Boston will be required to play with small lineups with just one true big for much of the night. New two-way forward Drew Peterson or rookie Jordan Walsh may also be in uniform as well for some added depth.

Hope to see Walsh get some minutes esp if JB is also out. Peterson is on G-League assignment.
