I'm surprised nobody is talking about it, but I think there is a very real possibility that Steph could force his way outta the Warriors this season
He turns 36 this season, and the Warriors are a **** show and wont be contending anytime soon
It wouldve played out like the Dame situation, where neither the team nor player wanted to be the one to force the trade, but because of Steph's age, he doesnt have much of a choice

Pistons 21
Spurs 18
We are heading toward nba records here.
And get Bojan off that sorry Pistons team
Giannis 64 points on Pacers, part of me wants to watch playoff series between them to see player average 50 for playoff series

What is going on in the league already? Is there an epidemic of roid rage that i didnt hear about?
Jokic ejected, draymond swining and rightfully (hopefully) banned from the league, Giannis with that whatever with the ball...

Gosh, I dunno.
Jokic seems a little on edge but there is a lot of additional pressure on him now.
Giannis wanted the game ball for his personal record. Makes sense. Being that upset makes less sense.
Indiana supposedly wanted to give it to a player who scored his first NBA points.
I don't even know what game ball etiquette is in the league to comment.
Draymond is an aging jerk that can no longer take it as much as he dishes it out, so he has to upgrade his wrath. Because his skill and pain tolerance is being pushed.
Life of an enforcer means at some point you can't enforce anymore.

I believe Jokic is on edge because he gets hit a lot and it rarely gets called. It's the typical modern NBA big man problem we're familiar with from the Dwight Howard days.

Giannis was pretty mad that Pacers got the game ball for a rookie scored first point. I'd take it extremely personal also. I am for Giannis. Pacers did it on purpose because Giannis was going for the scores in the late 4th Q

After very bumby start, Clippers addition of Harden seems to be working.
Could be good candidate for dark horse title winner.

For everyone who was pushing for us to make a trade for a star player a year or 2 ago, I'd like for yall to look at the Cavs right now
They have a poor fit team, no depth, no future draft picks. All because they jumped on trading for Donovan Mitchell.
Simoly trading for a young star under long term contract because it doesnt happen often, isnt sharp. There has to be a plan at hand.
The Cavs are honestly screwed unless they can get an amazing haul for trading Mitchell this season

Yup, they got hit by injuries and have no quality depth. We already know about that because we experienced that a lot with our often injured players.
Yikes they are out Mobley and Garland after their last game.

Weltman's organic strategy + wait and see approach could be the right position after all. Just really boring.ogmagicfan wrote:For everyone who was pushing for us to make a trade for a star player a year or 2 ago, I'd like for yall to look at the Cavs right now

Counter point.
We still have / had a lot of assets. Why they couldn't have been leveraged is just beyond my meager understanding. That is all.
I am usually the guy when we offer Fultz + FRP for something saying how teams don't want our pedestrian backcourt.
They want Suggs now.

I don't think his strategy has been boring at all, it's just you should wait until the right moment to make that big splash. Understand the team and our strengths & weaknesses first. And you better make sure the fit is great. For the Cavs, Garland & Mitchell were never going to compliment each other well, and they already had Allen & Mobley which were a rough fit together to begin with.
Considering we were really young last season, trading for Mitchell when he was available last season would have been grossly premature.
Opposed to when the Magic signed Rashard Lewis and it elevated us to contender status. That Magic team had a couple years playing together under their belt and it was the definition of a great "fit" addition we couldve made next to Dwight.

I'm debating if we need a Reshard Lewis type signing like the Dwight build or if we are more like the Shaq/Penny build and can get lotto talents like Nick and Dennis to play critical starters' roles.ogmagicfan wrote:eyriq wrote:Weltman's organic strategy + wait and see approach could be the right position after all. Do the shaq/penny build.
The Ra$$$$hard signinf was a lucky hit. If Battie didnt get injured and forced him to play PF and elevated Hedo to the starting SF, we wouldnt have unlocked that strategy of D12 with 4 shooters...probably

Will we ever see a starting lineup of Black/Suggs/Jett/Franz/Paolo?
