Imagine if Jaylen and Tatum weren't 2 for 14 from the three, most of them on open or wide open shots.

That was a fantastic game by the Celts. Clearly they’re sick of Orlando beating them with more focus and energy and brought it tonight. I thought the whole team was excellent and maybe should’ve gone team, but wanted to give it to PP and JT.

Really pleased with JB of late and White could also have been a deserved VC. Hauser had a really well rounded game.

Nice to see a few of the others get a shot and they certainly matched their end of the bargain.

Don't know If Boston CAN AFFORD ANOTHER max contract !

We'll re-sign White and Sam after we move Jaylen for picks and parts.

I get the feeling Jrue Holiday is the guy who will make place on the payroll for these necessary resignings.
He'll be 35 in 2025. Do you really want to pay big money for a guard that old?
And then Hauser will be a starter and Pritchard the 6th man.

Great W down KP & Al.
Great D.
Great ball movement - 31 assists!
Pritch & Sam w 9 3s.
Derrick excellent as always.
MVP great line, lots of drives to the hoop, hope he gets his 3 ball back.
#7 dunked on everyone viciously, good floor game, awful from 3 again.

We showed these **** what is what FINALLY.
Beat them even worse on Sun.

19-5

Roll Celtics!

Celtics missed a ton of open shots too.

This team has a ceiling that no other team in the league can match.

He’s not lying. Props to JB for setting the tone with his attack mentality early.

And for the most part he played the right way for Probably the entire game... I don't know how often we get to say that..

But I also think thanks to Boston spreading it out the Lane was SO open it was almost impossible to double team him tonight.. He got to the rim with authority..
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

I don't get why they seem to have regressed at shooting 3s these past few years.

I don't think he realizes what it's like to play All-NBA defense. That's delusion talk but if it helps him become a more well-rounded player and improve on his weaknesses, who are we to stop him.

My vote goes to Coach and the bench. Nice to see some of our bench players getting some relevant minutes, and doing a good job. Anyone out there still thinking Payton is not a valuable member of the team? He's been a spark of late, and I'm pleased to see it. I know some forum members have been down on him, but he has a great team first attitude, plays hard, and his shot is coming around. He also has his fans here. Count me as one.

I don’t know if it’s all on that though. Felt like brown used to be automatic if he had a wide open corner three now it’s just mixed results. JT is all over the place with his three ball. Sometimes missing open ones. Definitely felt like both were better a few seasons ago.

While lucky, I have serious concerns what this team would look like if we weren’t lucky enough to score D White
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
Coach has been using Pritchard wrong imo. He's still at his best as a shooting guard, setting himself up in the corner or wing for a swing/kickout pass, relocating if need be instead of wasting his energy and everyone's time dribbling the ball aimlessly. With White, JB, and Jrue with the ball, he can just spot up. He's great at pushing the ball in transition but in the half court, he can't be the primary ballhandler. All of his scores below were assisted.

PP is just the 4th Celtics player (McCarty, Brogdon, Smart) this century with 20+ pts, 5+ assists, and 5+ threes off the bench.

He gets into the lane more often than you'd expect. But he can't do anything in the mid-range. No floater or push shot. So I basically agree with you but I'd like to see him develop a mid-range on-the-run game.
