Game 24 Pacers at Wolves 12-16-23

Post#1 » by KGdaBom » Sat Dec 16, 2023 4:36 am

The Pacers may be without Haliburton tomorrow. We seem to be facing teams when they are weakened more than our fair share.

TYRESE HALIBURTON

Haliburton could miss Saturday’s game against Minnesota due to a left knee contusion, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports. Haliburton picked up the knock during Friday's game versus the Wizards. He left the game after the injury, and while the Pacers said he was available to return, he never did with the lopsided score being a factor. If Haliburton is unable to play Saturday, we're likely to see a lot of T.J. McConnell and Bennedict Mathurin.

This doesn’t sound like the type of injury that really hampers a guy. It sounds like a deadleg which gets really tight, but usually is back to normal a few hours later. I mean if they rest him that makes things easier for us, but I doubt it.

Will be a tough game. A very good offensive team against he best defensive team. Let's see how we handle this one.

This sort of team is our achilles heel. I'm expecting a loss tomorrow

IND on a b2b, just loss to WAS yesterday. Very winnable game at home. We been very lucky this year catching teams on long road trip, b2b, and without key players.

They gave up 137 to one of the worst offenses in basketball. We are not elite offensively but we are far from the bottom and have our whole roster available for this one. We have a great chance, but we still need to take care of business.

I heard Ant might not play. I'm expecting a win either way, but Hali not playing and Ant playing gives us a much better shot than the opposite.

If Ant and Haliburton can’t play, I’d be perfectly fine with Ant inviting him to sit on our bench to watch the game.

Kinda like Lebron was inviting KD to all kinds of things while he was with the Pels. That is very thoughtful and considerate of both Ant and you ;)

Holding them under 100 would be magical.
