It's obvious Celtics are on another level. So the chances of us breaking this streak were slim.
But Magic should be analyzing them on how to build a real playoff team.
They literally have 7-8 guys in a tight rotation that can play 1 on 1 offense and attack mismatches. They don't even need ball movement. They play 1 on 1, create mismatches, and kickout for 3s

We have 3 guys like that and a wide rotation. (tonight only 1)

That is just to hard to overcome that and it's why we can't slow them down and we are easy work.

This idea that Anthony Black is going to shut down Jalen Brown is so silly its hard to actually engage. We lost to a better team. If Black plays there is just a good of a chance the game still goes down the same way and you'd be arguing he's only minus 3 compared to everyone else. Its so goofy.

Does that 6'7 player also space the floor for an already struggling offense?

He's made 4 threes in these two games.

LOL, he's 1/3 for this game he has only made 6 3's in the last 18 games. He's not a shooter...

Turns out when teams hit a zillion threes collectively it doesn’t matter how much Paolo scores.

Mosley got psyched out and tried to beat Boston’s their game with more shooting and spacing but we aren’t built for that game. We needed to keep attacking the paint until our guys figured out how to beat the defense, but we probably lose that way too because Franz wasn’t getting any better as the game went on.

Have you read the posts?

There are legit posts saying Cole has been horrid this last week and he's shooting 51/40/83. If that's what horrid is on an offensive starved team then I'll take it.

Should we bring Vuc back then?

Putting up decent scoring stats while your lineup is getting toasted doesn’t make him an effective player. I don’t get why people ignore that completely. I mean, they’re happy to exaggerate how much Black holds the team back but then they’re blind when White/Brown/Pritchard/etc are shooting straight over Cole or blowing by him with one step.

My guy, you know I respect you but these posts about AB and Jett earlier in the season are actual madness.

Jett wasn't going to fix shooting and Black isn't magically going to fix everything wrong when Franz is struggling and we need a consistent offensive threat.

I love how he's played lately, I traded a lot for AB in Knicks BAF and have huge hopes for him, but I know that next year is when he'll be used way more.

Cole has his warts, mostly his size, but people acting like we can survive off of Fultz/AB right now only are totally punting any sort of consistent three point production from the PG spot.

Your not gonna beat Boston when they are hitting contested 3s. On to the next one.

magic just have to continue to play as they done until now.

super D,good bench,super effort.
the offense will struggle because has to,but the important thing is to keep being unite and focused.

the goal for this season is right there,at this point it is just a question of not screwing everything.

tonight was a good game, against best team in nba by far.

I don't think the Celtics are on another level. They are completely healthy, and we have 3 players out. Ingles is kind of the engine on the second unit.

What he HAS done though is more than what Harris has provided. Forget what if's.

I don’t mind teams hitting 3s, it’s the fact that they do it above their average that bothers me because our team isn’t guarding the 3.

Absolutely this.

Orlando is never winning against Boston pretending they can play their game better than them in Boston. They didn’t stick to what got them here for whatever reason.

Yeah, Black is clearly better than Harris and probably better than Cole.

I think that is a point you are exaggerating a bit. Those who are "against Black" don't think he is holding back the team he is just young.

Like I feel like I'm on **** mushrooms or something when I read about rookie stuff. I still go back to that thread where there was theorized 5v5v5 teams with the Magic and people picked the team with Jett + Black to win over grown ass men who would punk guys with no NBA experiences lol

That challenge worked out well (I know I know, hindsight)
I still believe in Magic! Welcome to the Franz & Paolo era

It is a learning process. Falling and hitting the ground hard hurts, but it´s the best way to turn boys into men!
