Back to back first team all nba guy regressing at 25, because he’s only averaged second team all nba numbers the last month.

Seems likely.

He's been worse this year than he was last, and worse this year than the year under Ime. Just look at his pull up jump shooting numbers. He can turn it around just by exercising some judgement with his shot selection and not relaxing so much when we have a lead. I'm not prognosticating here. The trend over the past two years has been down. You could argue only slightly but it's indisputably down.

Meanwhile Jaylen has raised his Assist to Turnover ratio from 1 to over 1.4, addressing his biggest weakness in a big way.

Nothing I said should be that controversial. It's not as if I said JB has surpassed JT, or that he would in the future.

It’s 25 games into the season lmao. He was better last year than the season before, and this season he’s averaging 27/9/4 on the exact same efficiency as last season. The team doesn’t need him to take over every game like in the past, and he’s content letting other guys cook. Two weeks ago everyone was blasting Jaylen, doing the exact same reactionary silliness. Now the gap is rapidly closing with Tatum.

To say someone is regressing based on 25 games is insanely reactionary, come on now.

To close the gap, JB needs a shoe deal first.

we can never have anything nice without this type of stuff. why can't we just be happy both jays are playing well? don't have to be negative about one when the other is shooting well.

I agree with all of this. I do want to say, that everyone has to include you, no?

It's okay, jb will have his pissed-on shine again, the tide always turns. then he'll be regressed (again) as JT soars.

Someone (zoya?) suggested a name change for one, I'm thinking, "IAM MeNotHe."

I’ve been praising the way Jaylen has been playing, I think lol. My only concern has been his efficiency and his three ball, which is based on a years long trend. Otherwise, I don’t think I’ve done much blasting, unless it’s to mess with someone? It’s why I barely ever post in game threads now.

The way he’s playing is what I’ve always hoped for (and doubted), and it gives this team a higher ceiling. I just want a title lol.

The Magic have been that "young up and coming team" since the mid 90s lol

1. Become young up and coming team.
2. Young stars leave franchise at beginning of prime.
3. Rinse & Repeat.

New York Knicks - irrelevant since 1973
Orlando Magic- irrelevant since forever

Poor NYK fans very salty and delusional. "This is the year"

Man I hated missing this game.. Although I was able to take some peeks on my phone.. Look at some highlights.. It appears I may have missed Brown's best all around games.. Great scoring but most importantly happy to see six assists...

Happy to see good contributions from others as well... Binky or not. I want to see big Queta play an entire month of minutes.. Even if it is only third string.. I really believe he is an unpolished gem waiting to be shined up
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Nice win.

VC goes to Brown and White.

Brown was really good. 31 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds.

White had a sneaky good game. He only took 9 shots. He had 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks and a steal.

Tatum, Jrue and KP were solid.

Al's rebounding has been really good all season off the bench. He played well and so did Pritchard.

Yes, 1 who is made of glass and the other is 37. They need another for depth purposes as KP and Al will miss a lot of time.

They've been good most home games, it's away that's been the issue so far for the most part, hopefully they've found their groove for the upcoming trip.

JB been playing excellent bball of late, please please please let it mean things have clicked in his head and this is more the JB we get from now on.

Well he been saying this is how he wants to play for a month plus now. Now a few around here just didn't believe him and were mocking it.

His best year was the year under Ime, IMO, but that part of my message got mistyped. Last year his pull up shooting went to hell 2/3 of the way through the season.

It's not a slight to JT to say JB is closing the gap. JB has improved like 25% (I put a lot of importance on his playmaking and A:TO because that's what limits us most when Tatum is out).

I love that JT has improved in the post and is going to it more often, but his tendency to take the foot off the gas and his tendency to settle for poor looks (he has a PPP under 1 on pull up threes and a really high PPP on post ups) is one of the few things that bothers/worries me about this team. That said, am I nitpicking here? Absolutely, we're 20-5 and that's a 66 win pace. We're in great shape

Ainge is going to take some team for 4 firsts and two swaps or something ridiculous.
