Big yikes if Dillon can't go. He's been admirably soldiering through some injuries but I can't imagine Jones is gonna get more than 8-10 touches even if he's ready on Sunday. Gonna have to be a big Patrick Taylor game.

IF only you could find 53 guys to buy into that same mentality for one season.

Broken thumb? Not good.... Hard to hold the ball, harder to catch a pass. Also harder to block Dline or blitzers coming through.

What's the most we could get for JA in a trade? A 3rd maybe?

Looking ahead to next years opponents (other than division):

Home
Arizona
San Francisco
Houston
Indy
NFC South (currently Atlanta)
AFC East (Currently NY Jets)

Away
Jacksonville
LA Rams
Tennessee
Seattle
NFC East (currently NY Giants)

If Jets holds up I imagine that would be week 1 or 2 in case AR gets hurt again.

Ratings on Jets at Packers would be massive agreed they would make that week 1 to make sure it happens. SNF week 1 I would guess. The Jets are locked into 3rd but we can vary from 2nd to 4th pretty easily yet. If we lose to Vikings and beat Bears 3rd pretty much guaranteed and that’s what I expect to happen.

MLF says Barry is going to call plays and remain coordinator for the rest of the season. So there's that.

I'm fine with that. "Sending a message" isn't really a thing in this case. Start fresh next season with a new DC AND new defensive coaching staff (for God's sake it has to happen).

If we shut down Carolina and Chicago which is possible given how incredibly awful those teams are offensively I truly believe we aren’t making a change. If we go 9-8 and make playoffs Barry will be back.

Basically we are giving him another chance which scares me as MLF is loyal to a fault. MLF needs to focus attention on the young offense not divert attention to hold the hand of his veteran DC who has veteran players because they don’t know how to communicate. Insanity.

Joe Barry is the cockroach you just can’t kill. I’m starting to get to the point where if MLF doesn’t have the stones to can his inept friend, then he is part of the problem and needs to go too.

The fact he came out and said that tells me Barry is out after the season

Guys, he's going to be fired. Unless we're playing in the NFC Championship, he's gone after the last game the Packers play this year.

This is the same conversation we had last year before Barry miraculously saved his job with a few decent games at the end of the season. He needs to go, if nothing else to make sure LaFleur doesn’t change his mind again.
