He usually take it easy till allstar break, then we start seeing All NBA level performances from him. The bet has paid off in the recent playoffs so I guess it is what it is. I think Heat feel the standings don't matter and as long as they are healthy they can beat anyone. And looking at last year, we can't argue with it.
If Butler still looks like this post All star then there would be cause for alarm. But I'm taking it as him preserving himself for the playoffs
