He also missed a shot at the end of the game where it looked like he was seeking to embellish contact and it never came, love to see it.

You have to catch a hell of a ref draw to play the way Embiid plays and not have to massively adjust in the playoffs. He's capable of playing the good way but chooses evil.

By ESPN's own top 100, they've only got 3. They did have Kristaps at 62 but neither White nor Horford made the top 100

I feel like most hardcore observers would have White in the top 100 and Horford touch and go due to advanced age.

They had a separate article where they threw out some names that were just outside the top 100 and White was on that list. White's a guy that's I think is really hard to rank because his skill set is really perfect for a contender but on a non-contender the things that make him so valuable are less important. The lowest ranked guard on the list was Collin Sexton at 98 and if I were Boston I'd prefer White over Sexton, but if I were Utah I'd probably prefer Sexton over White.

If they are trading Mitchell, they go full tank this season right? Could be a blessing for them in the long run that their guys got hurt if they can grab a top 3 pick.

But for our purposes, do they have any defensive minded players that fill a need for us?

Where is this coming from? He's signed through next year, he's playing well and the team is 15-12 in spite of some injuries. As far as I know Garland and Mobley aren't out for the year. They should be an easy playoff team and have as good a chance as anyone after the top 3 in the East.

I guess if you can get a haul from him and your vibe is he's not willing to sign there then you have to listen. But I don't see why they would be trying to tank right now and even think they could get down to a top 6 pick without shady tanking where they tell all their guys to not play in spite of being healthy.

This would have been us all year if Giannis didn’t sign the extension. The entire Christmas Day game would have been spent discussing the possibility of Giannis on the Knicks. In fact they will probably still pull that garbage off that day anyways

For all the stupid stuff he has done I don't get why this is bad? All I saw was he hit a game winner and this. Isn't all he calling out others who said he got passed up?

I don't have a problem with it, just don't understand it. Nobody said he's not talented, they just said he was ruining his talent with the dumb mistakes off the court.

We all knew he was capable of what he did tonight.

Has there been a bigger disappointment of a player in the modern era than Zion? Guys like Hill, Oden, Penny etc were cruelled by injuries but I'm struggling to remember a player with immense potential like Zion who simply didn't care enough to be great.

Derrick Coleman was always the classic example of this for mine. Maybe Andrew Bynum too?

Just one of those insanely talented players who doesn't really love the sport at all. Locally, Jabari and Eddie Lacy come to mind. Both could have been great, but just didn't love the game enough to put the work / discipline in.
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

I think the hype that Zion had puts him on a pedestal for sure, but you look at a guy like Ayton and you have to wonder how in the **** he's not dominating this league. Ben Simmons as well.

The camera zoomed in on him when he was removed for the final possession against Memphis (good call Willie, his defense is awful and he never tries). If he ever drops some serious weight he could be unbelievable, but that seems less and less likely with each passing year.

Terrific 4th quarter
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Celts still get the yips offensively in close games. They just stop playing and go to clogged toilet offence.

The difference offensively between Jrue and Dame is insane.

We're winning in different ways, I'm excited to see how this translates to the playoffs when we need someone to score in the half court
