White ended up with 18 three point attempts. Decent % but that's way too much. We didn't attack the paint enough.

The lessons of this game are pretty glaring.

The coach still sucks. Refuses to call a time out and get a set play going. After about 8 minutes he drew up a pretty good play for Horford in the corner but the reality is, they got lucky because he's exactly who the Warriors want taking the shot.

The Jays still turtle and **** their pants under pressure. They can't close out games and frankly have weak inside game.

They have no rebounding and the bench is ****.

Hauser is not a good player. The idea that he is and inability to accept that he isn't could cost them a title. You cant have him shooting 7 or 8 shots in a playoff game. That would be suicide.

End of the day

It's the same old same old for the Celtics. They are literally a choke DNA team.

Sam is literally the second lowest contract on the team. He has outlived his contract and then some so I won’t pin this on him. What has happened that we have a built in reliance for him to get us ten points a night and since we don’t have many bench options, when one of them is off, it is often catastrophic.

To me so much of this falls on Joe. Tatum has regressed and I wonder if Tatum feels like the guy is a bozo as well and has no confidence in him.

It boggles my mind that a coach like Bud is out there…a championship proven coach, and we are riding with a guy I wouldn’t trust to coach a bunch of YMCA kids. If Bud ever wants to get back into coaching after his hiatus, we need to go all in there.

Basically the Warriors packed the paint and gave us open threes and we bricked 'em. Simple as.

Pretty easy way to beat the Celtics over four rounds if our only counter is shoot and hope.

Unless we have Porzingis who changes the entire geometry of the court for us. I'm not reading too much into tonight. We are 20-6. Tatum has been off for a couple weeks but his play usually picks up in the second half anyway.

We are screwed. Back to it being a make-or-miss league instead of changing your points of emphasis or adjusting your offensive attack depending on your opponent. This the same **** that happened when we lost to the Pacers who have no interior defense. We also didn't have KP then but threw up brick after brick after brick. Uncanny how we ended up with same percentage -- 29.3% from 3.

We'll be last in the league in 3-pt percentage and he'll still be bleating on about being happy with the process.

Tatum **** can’t explode anymore. Dude struggles to score 25 these days and looks slow and lazy af most of this season.

Started off hot doing the Paul Pierce post up thing but then got extremely lazy the last dozen or so games chucking threes missing free throws taking quarters off doing nothing. Where tf is the player from last season…can’t expect to win it all not against the best players when our best player is always pulling some bs

The relentless emphasis on 'all open threes are good shots' has **** up this team the last two years.

I just think this style is not gonna win us a championship. Porzingis changes things greatly being 10 million times better than Horford on offense but **** Tatum needs to cut out the 3 point chucking. He’s not a good three point shooter. Probably can be if he took quality shots but no. Just screams lazy to me when he doesn’t want to attack and draw fouls or post up over and over like Kawhi would do. Tatum can absolutely do nearly whatever he wants when he drives or attacks from the post up but the relentlessness chucking threes even when you’re struggling is a joke. The pacers in season game and this game the biggest shots Tatum took is a bs three which predictably are bricks.

This dumbass coach has to realize at some point not calling a timeout and letting Tatum dance around only the 3 point line only to chuck has not worked and will probably never work. Call a timeout and be a **** coach and run a play.

I agree with this post entirely. Tatum needs to stop looking to shoot the 3 everytime. He should just shoot when open, else he should just try to post up or attack the basket. More like what luka does. Also he needs to improve his shot making at the rim. He misses too many layups, and he’s just not that great in using the board.

Sure he does. But it's pretty clear that:

1) the coach is a huge net negative in crunch time (if he's even paying attention)
2) this team tightens up in pressure situations and resorts to moron-ball on offense

You can't be taken seriously as a champion and pull crap like this it's a fundamental flower the coach would Peyton's mindset as if no one else ever gets injured on Court and has to play under difficult circumstances. Ever heard of Willis Reed who played on half a leg but still led the team to greatness and Tatum can't do it. Curry owns him Lock stock and barrel. What are we supposed to think of Celtics fan when we watch this for a year after year after year after year after year?
