A non-catastrophic Brook injury really isn't gonna be an issue as long as Bobby's still on the roster. I still think you need to go out and do something to add one more 3&D wing though. Seems like from all indications they're banking on the buyout market, which I've got mixed feelings about. As much as I love Andre's potential, I don't think him and Marjon have exactly proved that they're guys you want out there vs. Boston and Philly in a potential Game 7 in the playoffs.

Main takeaway from game:
Marques Johnson calling the guy on the Spurs bench Walter White shows how good he is. That could never come from Novak, although I'll never know because the tv is on mute when he is on.

Re: PG San Antonio: Dame Time boats races Spurs
It's been so much easier to enjoy this season staying away from this board and I hate that.
The team definitely feels like it's settling in a bit now, it's a good thing to win the games you're supposed to and enjoy watching those wins. I promise with the schedule getting tougher next week and in January there will be plenty more chances to be miserable. We're not going to win all those games.

Which team is beating us in the 2nd round? Our crunch time defense has actually been good, wouldn't our playoff defense be similar? Also, you don't think we'll add a defender in trade? Horst is extremely aggressive.
Boston or Philly probably
I've never been in a world where Joel Embiid wins a big playoff series, and I doubt I ever will.

Agree. We've been significantly better defensively with Brook on, but also significantly better offensively with Bobby on. Both are winning players.
Adding a perimeter defender is a massive priority, and that player will need to be acquired in trade.
In a perfect world, I'd like to add a point of attack defender and a big wing. I'd dangle Beasley to increase our assets.

There is no way you guys are panicking about the Bucks defense in a game where they stopped trying 5 minutes into the first quarter lol

I've been saying this for at least a year.

Reddit is a much more pleasant place to be post game than this place. The way some of you find ways to be miserable just to be miserable sure is something.

This game and the last one were meaningless in terms of making any proclamations about anything.

I definitely think we can win a championship with this current roster on talent alone. With Adrian Griffin, Pop, Kerr, PhilJax, or my 5 year old son as the coach. We're probably still the favorites. I'd just prefer Griffin not make things so difficult. Again, a 3 for 1 consolidation trade at the deadline would be ideal. Problem is every contender is thinking the exact same thing.

I could see Maxey winning a big playoff series, he has a real stake at being one of the top 3 guards in the East

I like the negativity on this board, as long as there is some factual basis for the conclusion. I was tired of reading Eric Nehm's fanboy articles in The Athletic. I have no idea what Reddit is.

I'm far from panicking, but I'm kind of wondering if how good we are offensively isn't setting up some really bad habits defensively.

Re: PG San Antonio: Dame Time boats races Spurs
A lot of our close games are because the end of our bench can't hold 20+ point leads.
Hopefully Griffin is smarter than Bud and doesn't decide to go 12 deep in the playoffs. Once you eliminate Robin, Thanasis, Wigginton and company blowing 25 point leads which forces us to put the starters back in, we will be even better.
Of course, like most top heavy teams this means we can't afford major injuries during the postseason.

The key is to jump on reddit after losses and dunk on those jokers for being stupidly optimistic and then after wins jump on realgm to dunk on the haters for being miserable.

Hasn't that only really happened this season against the Pacers? And Wigginton didn't even play that game. In fact, he's only played in three games this season. Two of them being last weekend against Detroit and Houston.
