Game 28: Utah Jazz (10-17) @ Cleveland Cavaliers (15-12)
Yurtseven and George are OUT, don't know about Clarkson--I'm assuming he's out too.
Mitchell is listed as GTD for the Cavs, and Ty Jerome is OUT.
Regardless if Mitchell plays, the Jazz should win this one given the Cavs' injuries. But keep something in the tank so we won't get embarrassed by the Pistons tomorrow.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

I hope we win, but we are far from be consistent away.
We have won 3 of last 4 games, 2 of them vs teams with positive records. We'll see.
I don't like to say that... but it's true. We're better without George and Clarkson.
I hope George can study the team and system those days he is not playing.

If Sexton continues to play well as a starter it could give George the space to learn at a slower pace by either coming off the bench or playing with Sexton.

The Cavs won their last two games playing without Garland, Mobley and Jerome. Mitchell dished out a career high 13 assists along with 22 points in the win over the Hawks, and he scored 37 points in the win over Houston, but Mitchell is out tonight. Rookie Craig Porter Jr. is getting the start at PG and Max Strus is getting the start at shooting guard. The rest of Cavs lineup is Okoro, Wade and Allan.

THT has more shots than Laurie at half-time, that just should not happen.......

Thanks for the updates from someone about to commute home in the rain. Probably won't watch a minute of this one.

THT with 7 assists and 0 turnovers, I swear if I didn't look at the box score, I wouldn't have known he even had 1.......
Jazz in the lead, BTW.....

When you shot 51.3 FG%, with 43.3% from 3pt you don't expect to lose.
But they sink 10 3 pointers more than you, then you explain it.

Re: Game 28: Utah Jazz (10-17) vs Cleveland Cavaliers (15-12)
1. That was an annoying game. The Jazz weren't terrible but not very good either. To lose to such an injured Cavs team is embarrassing, even though to the Cavs credit, they played very well.
2. I thought Markkanen missed quite a few shots that he could usually make. Even when he doesn't have a very good game and not a very efficient game he ends up with 26+10 on mediocre efficiency.
3. THT was bad in the first half and good in the second half. Like others, I was surprised that during the 4th quarter they said he had 10 assists. Good for him.
4. Still, our inability to take care of the ball hurt us once again, even in the 4th when there was a chance at a comeback and there was a momentum shift, Fontecchio runs a fast break and loses the ball when no one even touches him. Ugh.
5. I thought Sexton was decent even though his box score doesn't look as good as the past several games.
6. Kessler reverted to 'very meh' territory once again.
7. We're playing Detroit next, and I'm not encouraged based on this game. Just...don't be that team that loses to Detroit, Jazz. Just..don't.
