If it weren’t for the Celtics meltdown the past two playoffs I would have them as clear favorites. But they have mental hurdles to get over and one of the worst playoff coaches. As it is, there are no great teams in the NBA, only really good teams.

Btw simply losing to the Warriors is not a meltdown, just the way they lost games 5 and 6. Last year a clear meltdown.

That's a meaningless stat as 19 teams are above 500 this year. Traveling back and forth is way more difficult than playing a team that has a 54% win percentage rather than a 50% win percentage.

Ironically the last time they won one I'd argue they didn't have one, although obv KG was one of the best PFs of all time.

I think if Tatum can keep his nerves in check he's talented enough to be the 1st option of a championship team -- he just needs to prove he can do so.

The celtics have had the talent needed to win a championship a few times over the last few years and never do it because its all mental with them. Maybe Jrue fixes that but it remains to be seen.
