There's no longer a war in New York.

Prokhorov (very popular name among Celtics fans) was sent to China. MrDollarBills is now all friends with Capn'O. And Hello Brooklyn is broken by the disbanding of the supposed super team.

Nets have no real identity and the Knicks are kind of in the middle of nowhere, with their greatest joy being the ability to mock the Mavs for losing Brunson... but all the while knowing they're capped as a second round team if all stars align.

The forumleague is very soft.

While some of those it’s true but ….

1 Prokhorov was banned and while he is missed , I don’t miss his crazy takes
2 Mr Dollar Change it’s not missed at all , he never existed, the same as all KD Harden Stan’s who left right after their Idols

I never saw any Nets fans mocking Mavs for anything , if anything lots of Nets fan’s including myself was rooting for Mavs to win the chip , I just wanted Kidd to get one even if it wasn’t with us and so he did and it was Happy Day for me

Kyrie I don’t have any grudge against him , he brought a lot of **** while he was here but he left on his terms , he was declined the extension and he asked for a trade , Harden Durant I could never root for but with Kyrie I’m indifferent tbh

I am going to be very blunt, Joel Embiid is legitimately the most unwatchable player in NBA history. Refs should be embarrassed.

I have a reputation on the Minnesota forum for making fun of Minnesota fans when they complain about refs, but this blows.

Sounds more like anti sixers fans are crying after that initial wolves run Sixers are up 6 to end the 1st quarter and they have Gobert in foul trouble.

The refs took Gobert out of the game with two crap calls. People want to watch good basketball and not the refs changing the outcome, shocker.

Refs are calling a tight game, you need to recognise that and adjust your aggression. Go for charges.

Well at least I got a good laugh out of Embiid trying to draw a foul on a stepback instead of just jumping at the rim. And yeah Eyeatoma I bloody hate foul baiting. Whistles suck.

The issue is that there isn't anything that you can do as a defender if the refs enable it. I don't even blame Joel Embiid, but on the first play of the game (going for a loose ball after Minnesota's miss) he literally initiated a hook on Rudy Gobert so that he could flail upwards for a foul call.

It's just terrible to watch, the NBA has to do a point-of-emphasis change similar to how they nuked the miserable Kevin Martin and Corey Maggette foul-drawing strategies.

This isn’t even like Embiid is getting the Wolves to reach or out of position. He’s drawn 6 fouls on plays with minimal contact that haven’t been called on the Wolves all season. They’re make a concerted effort not to foul and he’s still getting the calls.

Embiid doesn’t deserve any criticism, but the refs 100% do.
