He was a huge part of out team getting out to a great start this season and brings a defensive toughness to the starting 5. What message does this send to the team? We missed so many open shots but the offense is also stagnant. We caught fire during the winning streak but this team still needs an offensive coordinator.

To add to this, the coaches bang on and on about this team being selfless, being about forgetting their own numbers and playing for the team, for their teammates. How does this claimed selfless approach line up with a player simply being gifted a starting spot based on nothing more than their name/contract? This is gutless coaching, and the message it sends is that the whole selfless team first thing only applies to certain players, and others will just be gifted things they havent earned.

Franz either has tunnel vision or Paolo will over dribble and jump pass for a turnover. They should be more dynamic than that.

Goga is a UFA. Pretty risky move for a generally risk averse Weltman.

While agree conceptually, I’m less worried about finding a mobile big that plays defense and rim-runs than I am finding a guard that can truly run an offense and/or shoot the lights out.
