31/15/6 for Joker while only shooting 3 FTs. Some players shoot more than that with 9 minutes to go in the first.

Embiid has this one locked up pretty comfortably.

Embiid put that “only beats on bad teams” argument to rest. Dude is clearly the MVP rn, not even a question lmao.

KD during his MVP season was absolutely a better player than Giannis.

No the hell he wasn’t lmao.

It’s funny lmao. Like I said, this is a stan thread without objective analysis.

“Embiid is beating up on bad teams and isn’t good against good defenses” can’t believe that bs was actually a take

This makes me so happy! No way should he continue to have a job in the NBA. Ejects Jokic after 1 tech, next night grants Giannis 35 free throws. I genuinely hope he loses his job (and salary) and self-reflects on how corruption is not the way to live life.

Chris Finch saying what everyone thinks. Never seen a big man treated like a 5'10" point guard. I imagine it's not difficult to grab 50+ points when Gobert is given his first foul 22 seconds into the game and his 2nd foul 3.5 minutes into the game.

That's literally a foul?

He reached in and slapped Embiids arm going up.

Thats bad defense. Keep your arms anywhere but out in front of you. Middle school knowledge.

Giannis gets more FTA. How have you never seen a big man that gets calls when a big man today gets more? Chris Finch needs to tell his team to keep their hands to themselves and stop fouling so much. And you really think getting 50+ points isn't difficult? lol ok

It's not Embiid's fault and I don't blame him. We blame the referees who are determined to give him 12+ free throws a night. They can do that in the regular season when most people are barely awake watching the games, but once the games tighten up in the playoffs we've seen how Embiid becomes The Giant Midget and his averages crater and he chokes. That's why Trae Young has carried his team to the ECF before while Embiid has failed to reach the ECF despite being surrounded by Jimmy Butler, peak Ben Simmons, and James Harden. Once he flames out this year, I have no doubt people will turn on Maxey too.

Embiid is the first player in 50+ years to have 12 straight 30+ point/10+ rebound games.

Yes it's middle school knowledge
No way he is getting that call in PO, and no way any other player will routinley get the same call all regular season.
We all agree he is MVP right now you don't have to be so protective. We all, i repeat ALL except philly fans are saying that its annoying as hell to watch and not fair to other players/teams.

Figured I can drop it into this thread since there's so much discussion about Jokic having the worst of all-time whistle going on...

Tonight (Dec 20, 2023 vs Raptors): Nuggets had 0 free throws as a team halfway through the third quarter, FYI. 40 points in the paint and 0 FTs...meanwhile there's guys who are getting free throws on flops, offensive fouls, etc. The Nuggets will almost certainly be a contender this year, but they're literally playing an uphill battle most nights going 5v8. The NBA is all about large markets and Denver threw a wrench into their plans by taking out LeBron and the Lakers, Durant and the Suns, and Butler and the Heat. If they received the calls other (big market) teams do, we're talking about a 65 win team...

Lol, the classic "if you respond with facts you're being defensive" response.

Okay, man. We'll see how the rest of the season goes.

Tim Duncan nearly beat Lebron in the Finals 3x if not for a Ray Allen 3. Almosts don’t mean Jack. KD lost.
