It’s not “hating” to watch games with expectations of forming good habits. I agree that Brown has made a DECISION to be less selfish ever since ESPN called him out. This is what the “haters” have been screaming for forever.

However, now I’m conscerned that he will try force it and prove he is a playmaker in the playoffs against better defenses, when that’s not his natural strength.

I’d rather him just dunk and cut and let the ball handlers be the playmakers. You can be less selfish without having to run the point and play make like Haliburton. I hope he understands this difference in the playoffs.

So in other words, you’re never satisfied

Not really what he's saying.

Against top defenses, JB might be better suited as offball player since we have DWhite, Jrue, and Tatum who can handle the ball and be primary playmakers whenever he is on the floor.

I only agree to an extent. While I trust those three other guys more with the ball, JB can now do what he's doing because:
(1) he's bought into the idea that he doesn't need to think score first (and second) all the time.
(2) he's gotten a better handle on when to pass and when to score.
(3) the offensive talent around him on the floor is much improved this season than previous seasons that opposing defenses can't focus on just one or two players as long as they make quick decisions and they move the ball.

Our top 6 are all capable playmakers in my eyes (whether it's on-ball, off the catch, off movement, etc.). Just need them to keep playing the right way. We'll be harder to defend come playoff time. If they could play with more pace, the better.

GOAT GM is Brad.

And the reason why he hired Joe is because Joe is his understudy.

When Ime was removed, Joe was not the ideal replacement, but Brad had a hidden agenda.
Brad wanted to win using Brad's system.
Joe is using Brad's system.

So when the Cs win a chip, it will vindicate Brad.

Simply put, Joe is Brad's guy.

It does feel that way when Brad speaks

Just a nice professional win to wash the bad taste out from last night. Glad to have KP back on the court. It's amazing just how much everything is better when KP plays. We must do EVERYTHING possible to make sure he's as healthy as can be when the playoffs hit. He is the difference-maker.

Bubble wrap?? or start Queta and put KP on Ice until May??

He'll probably miss playoff games no matter what we do. He's going to get banged around and something in his legs will knock him out for a few games. I think we have to plan for it.

Don't know about the bubble wrap. Gotta balance making sure he keeps a good rhythm with getting the proper rest to reduce wear on his lower body. I just want us to take care of business before the trade deadline so that we can get him some games off to keep him sharp.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

55% shooting from deep is crazy. Impossible to beat that way.

Trading Hali for Sabonis is one of the worst trades in NBA history.

Yeah let's not ever let JB be a ball handler ever. Let's definitely not let him have the ball and ask him to put it on the floor 30 feet from the basket. We totally do not want things like this to happen:

Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Still blows my mind that people say this was a win-win. Sure both teams got good players but one side got an all-star and the other side got a budding superstar, massive difference. It's the same when people say the Luka / Trae swap was even = Luka is way more impactful as good as Trae is. Sabonis' skill set is just way too limited, not a player that can get the ball in crunchtime

He's seeing driving lanes and making decisive moves instead of dancing around with the dribble. It's nice to see.

Hopefully slowpoke can see how much better the offense runs with an increase pace. He better be ready for the weekend.

Certainly would want his legs fresh as possible. But I have a bigger fear when he falls in the game. All when players physically run into his legs.. He just seems to be so tall that his legs are an easy target..

I am also guessing we should consider setting him in back to back..
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

KP's just 28 years old.

And he's not fragile as Rob Williams.

If he's healthy, let him play, back to back or not.

KP for the VC. Consolation to White, brown and Jrue. PP played great as well. Best game of the season for me. They moved the ball well. Targetted mismatches all game. Really fun to watch. Well rounded game. Not much forced 3’s. Wish Jt would buy in with the team game and ball movement. It seems like with Jt playing, the ball movement stops. Its more like everyone just stands in the corner waiting for a pass, or sets screens for him to chuck a 3, or to be able to attack the rim. Still, the ball movement suffers. We need Jt to buy in for us to be great. We won’t be great with JT chucking 10 3’s every game. We will win games like this without JT, but in reality, we can’t win any series without him.

I agree with this. Huge shout out to JB who was only my 3 or 4 choice for VC but 6 assist/0 TO while still finishing strong at the rim and taking advantage of fast break opportunities. There was so much written here negatively about him but he really is growing into the guy who can lead without Tatum that his talent level, scoring ability and frankly his next contract demand that he become.

Also want to see Queta play more.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."
