Well at least we got to dream about it, I think Niners were in half of the NFC title games past decade. 7 appearances since the last time Cowboys played in it.

Even Bucs, Panthers, Bears played in it since the last time Cowboys were there

That is true. Won't take anything away from it. Just pointing out factually that it has been 29 years for your team since your last chip. Nothing more.

That was 28 years ago. Whiners won their last Super Bowl 29 years ago. What's your point?

I’ve at least lived for 2 super bowl appearances and several more conference championship games, the last super bowl appearance for the cowboys was before I was born

So was the last time your team won a Super bowl. Just live with it because factually it is true no matter how you cut it.

NFC appearances or SB losses?
Honestly who cares.
It’s all or nothing.

I can understand your stance when it comes to the history of the NFL. When you only have one chip and basically no history in 60+ years you really don't want to talk about it. Don't blame you TBH.

So when it comes to the Egals, there is nothing left to talk about this season. Works for me.

lol my eagles history starts in the late 90s so you can be all excited about whatever you want to be and puff your chest out over the past as much as you want

You’ll probably be dead in like 15-20 years along with about 50-75% of the fans who last saw the cowboys hold the trophy who will be in the dirt

This is the equivalent to a run down guy in a bar telling a younger guy that he boned the cheerleader in high school and she was so hot back then.

You have never once in your short stay in here so far has ever seen me post anything saying my Cowboys are going to the Super bowl. Not even in the Cowboy forum. Can't speak for the other Cowboy posters however. As much as I love my Cowboys since I became a fan in 1970, I am also a very passionate fantasy football player since 1983. I have also do my part in the gambling department. Love my point spreads, parlays and teasers. That keeps me engaged with all NFL teams. The games I don't get to watch over the weekend, I can surf over to the NFL Network to watch reruns of the games I missed. Makes it easier to have conversation and debate with other posters of the other teams in the general forum. Plus it keeps you engaged and takes the rust off when my team has a bad or off year. But, each to his own I guess.

And Cowboys fans are the ones “bringing up old ****”. No one cares about being the 1st place loser.

Just like the new generation Cowboy fans. Total disrespect for the history books and your own Egal fans from 1933-1989. Just wipe out the recorded history if we don't like it. :ouch:

Past decade, including last year is hardly old ****. and I care about being entertained couple more games and thinking my team actually has a chance. You might think going 0-16 and losing in the super bowl might have the same value and that's cool too.

Looks like Rick Bobby character was created with Cowboys fans in mind

A SB loss would be more painful.
Both are equal as they both resulted in failure.
The divional loss would give you a better draft pick.
