A SB loss would be more painful.
Both are equal as they both resulted in failure.
The divional loss would give you a better draft pick.

Probably depends on how you lose the Super Bowl.

The way the Falcons lost? I'd rather not even be in the playoffs than that. That gave the whole city PTSD.

The way Seattle lost to the Pats was an epic choke too. If Dak did that it would be seen as the biggest black eye ever given to Dallas.

ability to shoehorn Dak into every conversation is rather remarkable

although I guess not that difficult in topic of choking

I honestly agree with this. I'd rather lose in the divisional vs. making the SB. There is nothing worse than a SB loss and just making the SB isn't really an achievement. I'm probably in the minority (along with you)

It's an NFCE thread and I'm a Dallas fan genius.

You might catch some Eagle fans talking about Hurts if you look hard enough lol

This is too much !! I've almost soiled myself reading this last page. Guys, get used to it. Its always been this way the 9 years I have been here. When the Niner fans have a good team and they are feeling their oats, they are masters of trolling and derailing threads. They go after and smack talk everyone. Its not just the Cowboys, Seattle and division foes, they are equal opportunity smack talkers no matter who is in their way. Personally, I have gotten so used to it over the years now, I would think there would be something wrong with them if they didn't act and post the way they do. They make great t.v. in here. Its not like we all don't get our chances to hop on their failures over the years.
Despite the debates, arguments, etc., over the years, I sort of always had a love/hate relationship with their team. I find most of the Whiner posters to be very knowledgeable and entertaining. Let them have their fun. They have an outstanding team and have one hell of an opportunity this year. If we were in this position after 28 years, we would be doing the same thing on steroids.

I wouldn’t say you’re in the minority. The goal is to win a SB. Anything less than that is a failure.

As much as a Super Bowl loss feels, to win a conference championship is not a bad thing.

Yeah winning more is better than winning less, not sure how this became controversial topic, root for your team to lose in conference title if you have some weird Super Bowl trauma lol

I rather be an Eagles fan than a Bucs fan or a Ravens fan than a Commanders fan even though they have less Super Bowls wins. Consistently having an utter **** team and popping up for a Super Bowl once in a long while does not do it for me, but to each his own.

Next 10 years have two options.
Going 0 and 17 for nine years and winning the SB once.
Or
Losing in the SB a couple of times and making the playoffs every year.
Give me the first option. Easy decision.

So Bucs over Eagles*, Seahawks? Commanders over Ravens, Colts, Dolphins?

Bit more different once you put a name on incompetence, even most Central Floridians dont want to be a Bucs fan.

No difference
Teams that have won the whole thing more are ahead.
Extra winning seasons or playoff appearances don’t propel them ahead.

Ok that's your preference, their fan bases largely disagree.

Just my opinion.
The goal is winning it all.
If you are close to 60 and are a lifetime fan of Washington do you wish you could go back in time and be an eagle fan?
Probably not.

They might, dont know. I know they would want to switch if they are 30, and I bet average age of their fanbase is closer to 30 than 60. Heck they would even rather be Bills fans if they are around 30 years old.

I know Mr. Jack will be disappointed to see Seahawks below Bucs.
