Game 29: Pistons @ Nets 7:30PM EST

Post#1 » by whitehops » Sat Dec 23, 2023 5:09 pm

We lose this game we tie the record…

Hayes is probable with his illness and duren is listed as doubtful (not out) so he might be inching closer to returning in the near future.

Nets are on the second half of a back to back and have lost 5 in a row themselves.

If Monty starts Killian, I’m officially hoping Gores eats his contract and fires Monty tomorrow. Former NBA players are commenting on how ridiculous starting Killian is. We’re not only a laughing stock because of the losing streak but because of these horrible rotations.

Yeah man it’s bad, I have it ranked 1.Gores 2. Monty 3. Weaver, you can see how that’s problematic

Any quotes you have of former players? I'd like to read those

Thanks. I never understood this either. Just assumed they were trying to trade Killa and build up his value but that hasn't even happened either

If our lineup isn't this tonight then I dunno what's wrong eith our coach. He's obviously trying to get fired. No more 2 big lineups and just get shooters(albeit one has been horribly cold)

Stew 30 Bagley 18
Bojan 30 Livers(or Knox)18
Burks 18 Ausur 30
Ivey 30 Sasser 18
Cade 30 Hayes 18

Go small, have shooters to space and just play hard you morons.

Even just play 8 guys.

Stew 36 Bagley 12
Bojan 36 Bagley 12
Burks 18 Ausur 30
Ivey 36 Sasser 6 Burks 6
Cade 36 Sasser 12

Magic fan here. Just wanted to say when I started watching the league my magic got wacked by the pistons so often and began hating your team. But not likely the Lakers or the heat hating. I always had respect for the pistons and years after I started rooting for some succes for you, believe me, I was so glad when u defeated the three peat Lakers, it was epic!
Growing up never thought I would ever seen the pistons so bad, but hearing sell the team chants kinda hit me. A selling could turn out really really bad for a great fan base and the city (look at Seattle). U might lose the next 2 games and it sucks, it's difficult to be positive I know. But it's not the end of the world, loosing your team is way way worse. At the end of the season gonna be 29 looser teams anyway. Every crisis comes with new opportunities.
Hang on guys and wish you the best

If Monty Williams, against every single breathing human beings advice, starts a two big lineup again, he has to be fired during the game.

You can start Duren, but not with Stewart/Bagley/Wiseman.

Duren
Bojan
Ausar
Ivey
Cade

Stewart
Bojan
Ausar
Ivey
Cade

Wiseman
Bojan
Ausar
Ivey
Cade

Or, if you like;

Duren/Stewart/Wiseman/Bagley
Bojan
Cade
Sasser
Ivey

I don't **** care how much Stewart makes. He is not, nor will he ever **** be, a stretch big. He has zero handles, and cannot create his own shot like a ton of other stretch bigs.

That is all.

I actually thought the game was tomorrow until 20 minutes ago. Wish I would have known sooner, to give me an extra oomph to make it through these difficult days.

I'd love to trade for Mikal Bridges, and would trade anyone except Cade to get him.

This is like our game 7 of the NBA finals. Win this one and you're barely a footnote in history. Lose and you're in the record books.

I hope it has that atmosphere, but I'm still putting on "Wanted: Dead or Alive" after the 2nd quarter to finish the game in the morning - sometimes to look forward to waking up at 3am..

True to his word, Gores did change something. No pre-game!

I'm away from the TV atm. You mean the pregame show was canceled?

There isn't a pre-game tonight, but I'm not sure if it was scheduled. I just noticed another program on 30 minutes before the game.

It was probably killed because all 15 of the viewers they had to start the season, has been halved.

Inside the pride is on right now.

I swear the Pistons have eaten the Lions curse.

Damn, maybe Tom Gores should have been making the lineups from the beginning!
