PG: Bucks Steamroll Knicks for 7th Straight

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sat Dec 23, 2023 7:52 pm

Total domination. Bobby great, Khris great, Beas great. Dame & Giannis. Pat with 8/8.

Zarba and crew tried their best but eventually gave up.

Special shoutout to Khash. He’s up over 30 minutes but is now the 3rd (or 4th) option and he’s embraced it. Efficient. Dame from 3, Giannis in the paint, Khris midrange. Mix in the other guys. Deadly.

One of the best overall wins of the season.

Not much to complain about, probably a short PG thread. 8-)
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

That was a fun win. Griff's stock as a coach is trending upwards. We knew he'd have growing pains, but they've looked much better recently. Credit where credit is due.

If Celtics (without Porzingas) lose to the Clippers (without Kawhi) we move into the 1 seed.

Khris being Khris is huge.

General Board highlights:

-Bucks get away with too many fouls

lol wut

And my favorite: would Bucks be better with Brunson over Dame

That is a damn fine basketball team. They just kind of overnight became the monster we hoped they would be after the trade. Only clear negative I saw was Brook being too sped up around the hoop on offense.

This is the best win so far imo. We beat a good team on the road with clear home cooking keeping them close enough to be competitive. We had a clear head despite the calls and kept playing solid basketball on both sides of the floor. Everytime we gave up a couple of easy ones, Griff called a time out and we came back ready to build the lead again. Some of the plays on offense are pure poetry some times. Perfectly executed with almost everybody touching and scoring the ball.

MVP = Bobby Portis!

Griff has the team playing like title favorites over the last 20. Do with that information what you will

Will be interesting to see where Jae fits in with Khris taking a ton of those minutes back. Maybe more matchup dependent lineups?

Good win through an 8 v 5. We're an atrocious matchup for the Knicks.

I thought the Knicks all things considered played pretty well. Brunson, who the Bucks matchup poorly with although I like that he had a bunch of different defensive looks, had a great game, Randle had a very good game, they got to the line at a good rate and were near perfect there. The only thing they really didn't do was shoot the ball well from the outside. Yet the Bucks still beat them handily and a large part of that was certainly the 3-pt shooting discrepancy, but the Bucks did a good job of making them take contested 3's and longer 2's.
