It seems like ownership won’t okay blowing it up and he doesn’t know how to sell a quick rebuild around Scottie that they probably should have started last season before they traded a first for an average center and started bleeding other assets such as Fred.


Personally, I hope they stay stuck on the playin treadmill forever while the rest of those guys he keeps trying to say are worth three firsts all walk for nothing. F the Raptors.

We're a little past the 1/3 mark of the season and the East is largely where I thought it'd be. My big mistake was making the same mistake as last year in thinking Detroit would compete for a play-in spot instead of being the worst team in the league. Indiana's where I thought they'd be but let's see if their post play-in swoon is just a bad stretch or if being around .500 will be their water level. Orlando's a little better than I thought they'd be.

The big story coming into the season was that it would be a 2-team race and I'm still there. I know that many have gone to making it a 3-team race and some have even made it a 2-team race between Philly and Boston (although this is probably largely gone with the win streak). But, Philly is a bit of a flat track bully. They're 4-6 against teams with a winning record, for comparison sake the Bucks are 9-2 (with Indiana exiting this group yesterday) and the Celtics are 13-3. Beyond just that, after his really nice start Tobias Harris is basically back to the player he's been for the last 5 years and they're getting major contributions from Oubre but no team that has ever done anything has needed major contributions from Oubre.

He’s been bad for the last few years. Everyone knew it was a bad idea to not sell FVV and he doubled down, only trade for poetl and now that first is looking like a top 10 pick.

His refusal to sell makes no sense.
