For Shooting the J

Bucks in: Dunn, 2025 1st round pick via Cavs
Jazz in: Marjon, 2024 2nd round pick via Blazers

He's still going through a divorce, so it's possible he only gets to see his kids during certain times and he might not be able to move them around if their Mom has custody rights too.

Did you break up with their mother right as you found out you had to move across the country for a job?

I didn’t read the whole thing but since he’s going through a divorce it’s quite possible their mom is the reason the kids haven’t moved out here.

To be accurate, they had been separated for a year prior to him filing for divorce. However, often times we forget about the human element to a trade like this, Dame has been essentially dealing with 2 divorces, one from his wife and one from the organization he thought he would retire with. He is navigating quite a bit personally and at the same time learning all new professional relationships.

I like the idea of him being Dave Lillard, tbh.

Yeah it doesn't matter how much money you have, being separated from your kids is tough, especially this time of the year. Hopefully he gets to spend a lot of time with them in the offseason.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

This is a trade I would like to see (with everyone on board). Two brothers for a son.

Griffin for Thanasis, Robin (both waived), 2024 POR SRP, 2027 MIL SRP

Atlanta picks up an early and a distant 2nd for AJ who the won’t play even over both Wes and Garrison Mathews.

Bucks make it clear that Griffin’s position is strong and bring another young forward with upside.

Thanasis finally gets some meaningful basketball in Euroleague. He can still play there with a brother.

Robin finally can retire and enjoy his time in Disneyland. Brook will understand too.

Going to be hard to get better if we can't move family members, good chemistry guys or guys who know too much about the inner goings on.

We have two, trade friendly contracts at the moment, and a starting 2 guard role that needs to be filled. I believe Horst will try to address that with whatever is at his disposal. Bobby and Pat has to be shopped around.

This wing rotation is fine. You're not going to be able to trade to get a better one without giving up significant assets. What Bucks need is bench scoring when Bobby's shot is off and an athletic backup big/shot blocker.

Is what it is, we mostly thought the Bucks had no assets that could net a needle moving upgrade even before Dame so I really think the cupboards are bare. Lets be real, Bobby & Pat aren't going to nab anything worth moving them so we're talking about their contracts. Marginal upgrades aren't worth it, end of story.

Consider the we have arguments from people literally every month who want to trade multiple contributors & picks for 37 year old PJ **** Tucker, I'd say the tradebros are way bigger sentimentalists

I honestly don't know why people keep thinking we brought in RoLo just to make Brook happy. I doubt the organization gives two **** about throwing him in as salary filler for trade purposes. This ain't a Thanasis situation at all.

Right, we bought injury insurance to protect Giannis and Bobby from having to bang some bruisers if Brook goes down and his back or whatever flares up. Robin is a little slower footed and less skilled than Brook but don't get it twisted --- he is skilled and savvy enough to fill in 30+ minutes and be a big tough obstacle for teams with big front lines.

Maybe 4 years ago. Dude's been cooked since his last stint here.

No, no he most certainly is not lol. Any game where RoLo is playing 30+ minutes is coaching malpractice. We would literally be better off just not playing a center.

I’d play TA or Livingston or Bolden for 30+ minutes before RoLo. He’s that cooked.

:-?
If they brought him in for any other reason besides making Brook happy we have huge problems in the front office. He may be the worst player on an nba roster.

It was reported by multiple sources writers that it was a condition of Brook resigning. I'd love to deal him, but if we have that green light, we'd have cut him already.

He's a mountain of a man perfectly capable of setting some hard screens, eating up rebounds, bang around with whatever center, and sweep in a couple hook shots. If you play a small team then obviously you go with Bobby and Giannis at 5 but you guys swear it hurts our roster somehow to have the Lopezes, it doesn't it's a luxury. You do know that Wiggs is still on the bench.. get rid of that scrub if you're just bored
