What the hell brought up all this Boston talk? We're 10-9 against the Celtics in the playoffs (you know, games that actually matter) in the Giannis/Middleton (or Tatum/Brown) era. Hilarious to claim "they own us" or whatever based on 3-4 regular season games over the past two years. Especially considering you could argue they're the biggest fraud contenders of the past half decade.

Celtics live rent free in some of your heads.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

yep!! the key to beating boston is to not play george hill or grayson allen so many minutes and theyre not even on the roster anymore so easy sauce.

just need to make a small trade for jevon carter and we'll be good. he was the secret weapon we had and didnt use right

10/9 is great spin. Hopefully we're better equipped to not getting blown out in an elimination games against them this season.

I honestly didn't know that was a thing here. Miami, maybe. But who gives a **** about Boston?

Don't sleep on the Sixers or the Nuggets, they are pretty good as well. Embiid and Maxey are figuring it out.

No more AJ MarJon and a lot less Cam
I think that would be a big mistake

Talking about maybe the biggest roadblock for the Bucks during a great streak is exactly the type of thing I expect from a devoted fanbase message board, this ain't your uncle's facebook.

The Celtics are just another contender among several that have a chance this year. They're no different and no more special than any other time they had sick regular season numbers only for it to not matter in the playoffs when they got solved. Boston, Philly, Miami, Denver in the West, possibly Minnesota...anyone could win it. There's no "concern" with any of them, it's still largely gonna come down to shotmaking and which team is the healthiest.

All I know is I'm feeling pretty good getting into a firefight with any of those teams with Dame on our side.

the celtics are the current odds on favorites to win it all with bpi, pbpi, srs, vegas.... is there a single place they arnet being discussed or statistically the hurdle at least out of the east?

let me know when we can discuss the matchup and i wont be a negative nancy

personally i think its a big bull dick that we have a convincing win and thats all of a sudden the topic finally. means some of the other discussion like fire the coach for example may be on the backburner!

To be clear, the "spin" here would be to completely throw out the series where we like, literally didn't have our 2nd best player, or that one time when we had Thon Maker as our playoff starting Center.

you both make good points imo. weve not been consistently good aginst them for years. our last two series against the heat prove they could be a problem for sure. they are playing extremely good basketball this year. mocking the celtics would be just as silly as freaking out about them

I am so proud of this team, but I know they have some more evolving to do. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Whew boy, I remember worrying about the Celtics last year before a geriatric played "defense" against our cornerstone, hurt him, and the Bucks got embarrassed before even getting to watch a minute of Celtics film.

Yup. 53 games/4 months before I start worrying about them, or any other team.

Yep. Worry, don't worry, doesn't matter. Celtics are probably the best team and everybody's biggest obstacle, but they could also get beaten by the Pacers, or the Bucks could go down to the Cavs, or any of many other possible outcomes. There's nothing to plan for. There's nothing to fear. The Bucks shouldn't be thinking any farther than the Bucks right now.
