People keep bringing up the contract situation but you can’t let that stop you from improving the team right now. Goga should want to resign here with the opportunity the FO gave him.

I mean if they trade WCJ it would be Goga’s starting spot at that point.

Can’t imagine he’d be looking to leave.

Could they extend him during the season, although that might be against Goga’s best interests

I’m not the biggest Simons fan but he is safer (and cheaper) than the others. Him being from central Florida is a plus too.

I think so too. People think he would want a ridiculous contract but I can’t see his market being very large. I can’t imagine he would turn down a deal in the 10-12 mil per range.

Only 4 turnovers in the half is pretty big too. You can't let a bad defense off the hook with turnovers, especially when it's already a challenge to limit their transition scoring.
