Idk about that, its been 3 Qs and it just seems like we came out with more energy as a team

Vando needed minutes in general

We are also 13/22 from 3.....

See what happens when you make 3s, we are great

And just like that, Bron sits and a 9-0 run by OKC.....pathetic

I don’t know about Vanderbilt being any type of answer in the starting lineup, or in any type of closing lineup—if he were an all-NBA type defensive player, then maybe, but as it is, he’s not a great defensive player, and is a complete nothing on offense, and will eventually be benched in the playoffs like last year.

I'm a Ham supporter mostly, but that starting line up is lunacy

I wouldn't want any part of that OKC team in the playoffs. Good lord are they relentless. Most other teams would've lost by 30 tonight.

LeBron with a flawless performance and you could tell he wanted it bad from get go. Continues to play his best ball since the 2020 bubble playoffs.

Great to see DLo finally on the bench. And hopefully not even there after the deadline.

This team still needs a proper wing that can score and isn't a liability defensively. Reddish/Prince/Vando are all too 1 dimensional.

Ehhhh, I think he’s looked better physically but even last game and especially post in season tourney he hasn’t been going as hard as he usually does in the RS (usually he feels like he’s going 75-80% now it’s 50-60% lol)

AD-less run last year was his best ball since that time I think but I don’t want that till the playoffs hit lol

I know everyone loves MJ but I feel like it’s getting harder and harder to pretend Bron ain’t the GOAT.

LeBron being able to hone in on his shooting more because his foot is finally better is my 13th reason why PEDs need to be legalized. Bron is probably already on the good stuff but I'm sure it could get a lot better
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

As did I and everyone kept on laughing

AD can't keep playing entire 2nd halves

Gafford, Nick Richards, Stewart, and TIllman are options to look at

Looking back at things, would have been ideal to have made the Turner and Hield trade work

Bogi and Stewart from the Pistons might be available? I love the idea. Bogi is more sturdy than AR as well. Possible they can be played together

Bogi is a slow forward though, dont think thats a good fit with Rui and Bron in terms of perimeter defense

Stewart would be great

I dont see how we can bring Dlo off the bench with Reaves

I also dont see how we can have a starting lineup with Bron being the ONLY ball handler and limited spacing

Its a gimmick, smarter teams would double Bron

And with Vincent out until late Feb, I dont know if we can risk relying on him, feels like we need to shop him as the salary filler

So we need to get a pg/combo guard, preferably one who can play good defense and play make a bit at least
We need a backup C
We could use a forward who is a good shooter and can play defense

Rozier, Fultz, Brogdon, Caruso, Melton, Hield, Dinwiddie
Isiah Stewart, Gafford, Dwight Powell, Drummond

Harder to find realistic forwards. DFS not ranking that well and price too high (at least seemingly)

There is no legit and objective case for Jordan over LeBron anymore.

For Lebron to be doing the past 3 years (19th-21st seasons, with 60000+ total minutes logged on his body), is totally insane.

-Per 75 possessions, to account for different pace across eras.

-19th-21st seasons, all players in NBA history:

PPG: 28.7 (2nd is Kobe was 24.0 ppg, Dirk, 19.0)

eFG%: .576 (2nd Vince Carter, .523. Kobe (last): .415)

TS%: .608 (Stockton: .577. Carter/Kareem: .546)

BPM: 7.3 (Stockton, 5.0, Kidd, 3.3)

PER: 25.5 (Stockton, 21.0. Kobe: 16.0)

Average Game Score: 22.9 (Stockton, 11.9, Kobe, 11.0)

Total Points: 4372 (Kareem, 2418. Dirk, 2069).

In his 21st season, LeBron has a .611 eFG% (highest of his entire career). TS%: .640 (second highest of his career). He’s also averaging the fewest turnovers per game of his entire career.

Including the playoffs:
Total Points: 47,394 (Kareem, 44,149)

This is about how I expected this no shooting lineup to go, last game was the anomaly. Incredibly ugly stuff.

I thought this big lineup would be better defensively than shown

Neither Reddish nor Vandy are all the great defensively and they are both negatives on offense. Meanwhile Lakers are playing like it’s 1981 on offense with zero spacing.

This lineup right now is solid though. Not sure why it wasn’t the one that started.

Turns out you can find lineups that defend effectively without booting your spacing into orbit. Who knew?

Back to the same starting lineup of course...
