Masai apologized to Casey instead by inviting him to the Raps game last week. We're getting Marcus Sasser baby! LETS GO!

Yup and I didn't see it then , couldn't get away from his frame, but he's the kinda guy that we need in this team players with high basketball iq, can never go wrong with that instead of relying on measureables

Im convinced we made that deal so boston couldnt get him

And boston was bang on grabbing him to be a back up centre which is exactly what he is on a good team

Yep I was saying that last year.

Boston spent 2 firsts and got White and Brogdan.

We spent 2 firsts and got Thad, Koloko, and Jakob.

We could have had our starting backcourt but instead we got half a season of mediocre bench play from Thad and Jakob.

That's not entirely true though as Boston spent a lot more than just 2 firsts. Nesmith has been really good for the Pacers (especially this season, averaging 11.5 PPG off the bench on 53% from the field and 46% behind the arc) while Theis and Richardson are/were both rotation players. The equivalent for us would be like giving up GTJ, Boucher and Achiuwa + the picks.

We need Neemias Queta updates. How did he do in a game where he didn’t get garbage time?

Now Celtics are monitoring Olynyk, per wiretap. A guy we could really use

Of course not, but a C who can shoot to platoon with Jak would be a nice upgrade. A guard is more important to get but Kelly would help.

Every trade isn't to turn the team around. I'm assuming we aren't making a big trade, so looking for improvement around the edges.

We are 11-18, Walt. Our team is really bad. We need to consider rebuilding not adding guys like Kelly Olynyk. lol.

thing is though having a better bench would help us win a few games. idk if olynyk is the answer; we might benefit from a better pg more but right now FO doesn't have mandate to rebuild from ownership; in that case, having some vets coming off the bench is not the worst idea in the world.

Dallas tanking the last 2 weeks last season was the best thing they could of done at that time. This rookie center is the perfect big for Luka.

Nesmith was putting up 3.8 ppg and 1.7 rpg while shooting 38% and 27% at age 22. Kudos to the Pacers for turning him into a productive player. Thies was meh. Richardson was the only guy who was solid. It is definitely not equivalent to our 3 you listed.

The point remains. If they truly valued those two, they could of had them. Instead, they valued length and didn't worry about guard skills, age, etc.

Tanking doesn't work.
Whether you pick 6th or 59th, statistics show its the same odds.

Maybe one day you'll figure out why the bench sucks. But probably not.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.
