His prime is past for sure but he is still better than that unplayble Powell... He can't put a 24+25 game even against 12yo kids.

Bulls are in play in and like their rotation w/o Lavine, and seemingly w/o Vuc, I think Vuc for Holmes + Powell + 2 2nds is more realistic.
It may sound like a steal, but Vuc have been bad this year and looks like a bad contract.
Defense wins draft lotteries!
Fortune favours the bold, so it ducked Nico Harrison.

Yea Vuc is a terrible contract now, Dallas doesnt owe seconds imo

Switch out Holmes for Maxi. Nothing to do with fit or ability but because Holmes expiring will be useful in the offseason when we want to make a bigger splash trade.

A bench trio of Vuc/THJ/GWill would be up there for one of the best even with Vuc's regression.

I don't think Bulls are so desperated for make that move and mostly i don't think Mavs will never put Powell in a trade

Our only hope is that Maxi will be healthy and in a good shape at the start of PO otherwise we have to play at least 10/15 minutes handicap game.

And it was stupid didn't let play Holmes because playing with Luka we can easily increase his trade value.

A lot of teams could looking for a backup C after some season ending injury... Like Knicks and Memphis.

The only untouchables should be Luka & Lively.
Kyrie, Grant Williams, Exum, and even DJJ (given his cheap contract and production) for a deal the Mavs cant pass up
Most others dangle out there and see what you can get
Be hopeful someone is stupid enough to eat the contract of Josh Green (utterly useless) or Maxi Kleber (always injured, father time catching up)

I got one question, who are the really good players on bad teams that can make a big difference for us? A prime example of that is a player like Aaron Gordon (got bitten by a family dog over holidays and will be out indefinitely, best wishes to him). Who are some guys that come to mind?

Bojan Bogdanovic - little older but still maybe for a run?
Spencer Dinwiddie - expiring deal - is he taking another stab at?
Dorian Finney-Smith - familiar face and decent deal / help at the 4?
Miles Bridges - politics aside, last year of deal, he's Grant Williams with explosion.
Demar derozan - does he fit our needs, probably not, last year of deal.
Nikola Vucevic - gives us an inside game. 2 years lft after this one at reasonable cost. Lively athletic enough to play 4 on defense/bring back the twin towers. No more issues on interior defense - Vucevic can hit the 3.
Andre Drummond - expiring and honorable mention as backup. Dude had a 20/20 game not too long ago.
Alex Caruso - defensive minded and toughness.
Zach LaVine - Kyrie wont be here forever. If we can get Lavine for a bunch of bad contracts and a couple of young players - is it worth it?(trade idea: lavine, caruso, drummond 4 tim hardway jr, holmes, max kleber, jadey hardy)
Pascal siakam - do we have the assets for their gm who is known to be a hardliner, probably not.
OG Anunoby - same as the siakam situation.
Kyle Kuzma - if we can steal him for a couple of bad contracts and so/so draft compensation, we should do it, right?
John Collins - kinda in the same boat as Kuzma but might be able to steal for even cheaper?
Collin Sexton - is it worth adding him at his current salary as another defensive ace if he can be had cheap or is it over kill?
Kelly Olynyk - Last year of deal, can stretch the floor. Worth taking a look at?

What say you?

My fantasy:
This might sound crazy but my personal favorite is this Bulls trade for Lavine, Drummond, and Caruso. Adding Lavine might seem like overkill but he's talented and I would love to see what could happen with him on the court. Imagine Luka, Kyrie, Lavine, Lively, and Jones.

Most realistic: The Kuzma trade. The Dorian Finney Smith trade. The John Collins trade.

We desperately need frontcourt players and wings so we go out and sign a 6'1 PG.

The stupidity continues to be perpetual with Cuban calling the shots.

Would a Tim Hardaway Jr 17.8 mil .Dwight Powell 4 mil, Jaden Hardy 1.7 mil, OMax Prosper 2.7 mil for Kyle Kuzma peak the interest of Wizard fans

Hardaway a 6 th man candidate has trade value ,Hardy and Prosper two 21 yr olds with enormous upside and Powell just trade fodder

Mavs NEED to move Hardaway and Powell NOW which means young guy additions.Another huge weakness is Grant Williams ,he isnt going to work out.

Kuzma whether you like him or not is a guy that can help the 19 yr old Lively out when he feels overwhelmed .Grant Wms is too small to do that.
An undermanned Cavs destroyed the Mavs frontline tonight,Mavs are exposed. A smallball lineup with GWms as a smallball center totally failed.

The only thing that makes sense to me is that they are aggressively shopping Hardy.

DD has real potential imo but not sure he would have gotten much of a shot here with Lawson looking like the better of the two.
This must be a prelude to something bigger, otherwise it doesn't make any sense.

Supposedly Williams has a ton of potential as well.

They needed PG more than a bad SG, good move...
