I don’t know if that’s even possible, he doesn’t have leverage I wouldn’t think, but **** something has to give cause the owner isn’t doing anything. So figure a player can try. I don’t want to see him go, but we wasting anyone on this squad “talent”.

He and Duren reportedly just met with Gores... I think its entirely possible if this streak carries on into the mid to late 30s that Cade says he can't handle it anymore and needs to jump off the ship. Most likely they sit him for a few games due to injury and let him stay home to get a mental/physical break from all of this. I think its taking a toll on him for sure.

That said, the reverse is also possible. The losses weigh on him and instead of folding he doubles down and it forces him to become a better player because of it. Some guys look for the easy exit and some guys make sure they put in the work so they never have to feel what rock bottom feels like again. It made Jordan sick to lose to the Pistons and that hate helped fuel him to get over that hurdle... he put the work in... hopefully Cade uses it as fuel and doesn't use it as a reason to want to be somewhere else.
Where did you read about this meeting. I just got done googling, amd couldn't find a thing.

I would love to read about it. Or is this being reported on the radio?

Its about damn time, as Cade has a ton of power, and can force the front offices hand on certain things.

He visited the team a couple days ago, quietly, and met with Weaver, head coach Monty Williams and a handful of players to get their assessments of the team’s issues — and probably lay some directives, too.

Someone mentioned it, perhaps James Edwards... they he specifically met with Cade and Duren and that was interesting to me since Duren is still a young 20 year old kid and was also injured at the time he supposedly met with them.... The fact he didn't reportedly meet with guys like Stew/Ivey/Bojan etc is perhaps a bit telling that Duren is high up on the food chain when it comes to how ownership views Duren.

I don't care what age of civilization your currently in, or how coddled you were as a kid.

Everyone loves a winner, and everyone hates a loser.

Remember Jaden, "Sell the team" is meant for the owner of the team, who has turned the franchise into a clown show, the day he took over. In Detroit, this is very significant, as we all know with the Lions.

Ownership has a huge impact on a teams direction, and having an L.A. slimeball at the helm, is not ideal.

Also, what the hell does this kid expect? Roses?

I think it's ridiculous to ask a player what they think about the fans chanting "sell the team". What is he supposed to say?! "Yeah, **** the guy who signs my checks!!" So pointless lol

Then again, I think the "sell the team" chants are ridiculous in their own right. Gores has made some dumb ass decisions, but at least he wants to keep the team in Detroit. Wait until some rich dude from Seattle buys the team and we no longer have a team at all. It's a very real possibility any time the team is up for sale. You would think a city that once housed the Detroit Shock would understand this. Should be chanting about firing the coach or the GM or whatever.

Thanks for this!

**** is gonna change, and its gonna be soon. I just hope it's not yet another mistake. Also, just as an aside, check out these averages for Cade over the last 5 games;

31.8ppg
6.8apg
4.8rpg
1.4spg
3.2 turns
83% free throws on 7.2 attempts
12.0-20.8 FG%-.577
1.8-4.4 3P%-.409

Cade has been a top 5 player in the league over his past 5 games, and seeing as how its actually only his second season, he is truly starting to become that all-nba guard. He is 100% the future.
