There are two records. Most consecutive losses in a single season: 26, and most consecutive losses: 28.

Looking at the Pistons and their best chances to end their losing streak. They'll almost certainly lose to Boston tomorrow to tie the all-time record. Their next game they host Toronto whose an abysmal 3-9 on the road and that's about as good a chance as they'll have for a while. If they don't beat the Raptors they've got a 4-game West coast road trip all of whom have pretty good home records. Then they host Sacramento and San Antonio on a b2b and if its still going on at that point that Spurs game is as good a chance as they'll have. The Pistons haven't won a game since October 28th and the Spurs haven't won a road game since November 2nd.

The Gordon story will end up being a weird little footnote, if that, in the story of this season. But could you imagine if it had happened 4-5 months from now? The Western Conference title or even NBA title could've tilted on Aaron Gordon being bit by a dog

lol what? That is exactly what it looks like! He even does the goodnight sleeping thing at the end which leaves absolutely no doubt to what he was doing. Honestly, I'm a little surprised he didn't get fined for it.

Its not a bad bet. 13 of the 27 losses have been by single digits so its not like they're completely uncompetitive every night and that's really high for a single game
