Scottie has tied his career high in 3s made in a season and it's only been 30 games. His improvement on his 3 point shot is just incredible. He's going to be unguardable in his prime.

I'm starting to get higher expectations where the 20 points on 16 shots, 12 rebounds, 8 assists doesn't really look all that impressive from Barnes.

That's basically All-NBA numbers and he does it without much effort.

I would love to kick Flynn to the curb if Barnes can start at PG against a real team and then have Dennis off the bench, which would be great. Flynn has always sucked. I am not sure why he has been given so many chances.

Won every quarter convincingly. Yeah yeah the Wiz suck, but that was a professional effort. No random hot shooting night or anything like that. We just executed all game.

Yep. Before people start crapping on the win/new starting lineup because it came against the Wizards, the way we played tonight is something we should be doing most nights. I'm not saying we're going to score 130+ and shoot almost 60% from the field while holding the opponent to ~100 points, but some of this team's biggest issues (outside shooting, taking the ball out of Scottie's and Siakam's hands too much, unbalanced lineups/bad rotations, etc.) can be somewhat solved by the simple starting lineup change that Darko finally made tonight. The consistent defensive effort is something we need to see more of as well. Our defence was rough to start the game (aided by some brutal officiating) as well as most of the 3rd, but overall this was one of our best defensive efforts since mid-November. I'm interested to see how we'll come out on Friday and if Darko will stick with this lineup now. It seems obvious he should, but who knows.

On another note, yet another dominant game from Scottie. I wish we didn't extend the lead quite so much though because I was 2 Scottie points away from a big payout.

Low-key and just cheeky little $1 bets for the most part. As soon as I saw Schroder was going to the bench, I had a feeling Scottie would have a big game so I put down $5 on a 22/10/8/2/2 with 2 threes or better line. Almost made two weeks worth of pay with the sacrifice of an energy drink.

It just blows my mind the leap Scottie has made this season on both ends. Like someone else said in this thread, a 20/12/8/3/2 line doesn't even feel that special anymore because I almost expect it from him nowadays. The Scottie/Siakam/OG trio with a dynamic guard would be a really fun team to watch. It sucks that we'll probably never get to see that though.

Barnes had 1 dumb turnover playing the PG but that was it. Not a bad first stint at all this season.

The Schroder and Poeltl combination with Porter and two prospect level players isn't horrible. It's better than putting Flynn, Achiuwa, and McDaniels in the game.

But yeah, I mean we all know I’ve been fanatical in my Scottie support but I didn’t think he would ever be this good at shooting much less this season. The rest I’m not too surprised by but the shooting has been unprecedented. We really nailed that pick.
