Why did it take this long to see this starting lineup

The Schroder and Poeltl combo is better than most back up or secondary line up's. Removing Flynn and limiting Achiuwa from playing without vets is a huge positive too.

We badly need a stretch big. Siakam just feasts inside when you remove the help defense.

Achiuwa - Poeltl
Siakam - Boucher
Barnes - Porter
OG - (GLeague shooter)
Trent - Schroder

A true stretch big or additional movement shooter instead of Achiuwa would make up better starting line up. But playing Achiuwa with better players will prevent him from making stupid decisions and play a more basic game.

I think removing Aichuwa had a huge impact too. They replaced him with Porter who's one of the smarter guys on the team. The McDaniels thing made no sense, but maybe Darko has been told he doesn't have to develop Aichuwa and Flynn anymore. McDaniels at least doesn't play selfish like Aichuwa.

This is what unselfish basketball looks like. First game all season we truly saw it.

ya, it looks like raps have thrown development out the window now
Gradey, Malachi, and Precious all riding the pine....they can't afford to lose any winnable games

personally i'm team tank and team sell-off

Those scrubs aren't worth developing.... Trent move was long overdue as was the Schroder move... next, will be to find a better replacement for Purtle...

Starting and developing Trent is better than developing any of those guys. Starting Schroder was a stupid move. The next move should be to start Achiuwa instead of Poeltl. We need him to play similar to when he was a Heat (+ shooting open shots).

Guys it’s the wizards, the lineups didn’t matter, result would of been the same had Dennis started this one

12-19. if we can get to 19-22, i like barnes all star chances but they will have to send at least once magic player which will hurt barnes.

I never understood that logic. No one on the Magic is an All-Star caliber player right now. Major awards should consider team success but I agree with Shaq in that All-Stars should not be chosen by team record. If it's close you select Paolo but it's not close, Scottie is clearly better than him.

Only thing the lineup change did, was showed just how unnecessary Siakam is.

We almost lost to this Wizard team almost a month ago....

So... we're done with Malachi right? I mean his numbers are regressing right back to his career norms.

Achiuwa should be packaged in deals at the deadline. We can do without him.

He's not an asset, he's just salary at this point

Really may not matter if this team lays a egg against Celtics, beating the Generals is not changing anything. They suck

yea the wizards have 5 wins. we should have beat them with or without the lineup change. If they can keep it competitive with the Celtics then we might have something.

He's not and most of us already knew this. Granted, our FO is overly patient and will evaluate to death. But surely this has to be it for him. 174 career games over 4 seasons and the best ones weren't really good, but more a case of "he wasn't terrible and didn't get torched out there".

I was kind of looking forward to him facing Knox on Saturday lol. I can't think of 2 worse players in the NBA who are seeing significant minutes (15+).

I’d rather we keep him. He would be a cheap contract. If he finally realizes that he’s a role player and sticks to his role he can be quite valuable.

He's not a good player. It's hard to teach "feel for the game"

Nice to finally see a win. You don’t want to continue being on a losing streak heading to that Detroit game lol.

He’s good defensively. If on offense he realizes he’s not a superstar and keeps himself limited he’ll be fine. Sometimes it takes a few years though.

Yup and they could have saved lineup change as surprise for Celtics game, they are just a terrible team
