Celtics should have gone even more to KP in the post.

Credit the Celtics for taking only 15 three pointers in the 2nd half after taking 24 in the first half

It’s the couple of minutes before that that is usually his and the teams issues lol.

I'll take your word for it... I remember someone doing that not that long ago. Maybe it's the buzzer beaters specifically he seems to miss alot? Idk what the stats are for that. Just seems that way.

Small sample but he hasn't done well in this particular scenario:

1 for his last 11 now.

If you look further down you'll see that he is doing pretty much as well as any other big name stars. It takes 2 - 3 extra seconds of reading.

I’ll say it again, White is making the all star team.

Not unless a lighting bolt hits Mitchell, Haliburton, Trae and Lilliard, Then maybe he can beat out Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Maxey, Lamelo Ball, or Tyler Hero

We gave them every opportunity.

Whew!!!

Mark of a great team.

Shot poorly and trailed big at the half and got clobbered on the boards the whole game.

But still ended up winning.

Let’s see what happens tomorrow after the team playing 53 minutes and no Al Horford

Kornet to the rescue?? :o :(

The claim that he's one of the most clutch stars doesn't hold either way.

Everything went wrong, leading to a win. That was a good game for fans of strangeness.

Tatum's ankle is causing him subtle dysfunction. He's not right yet.

Jaylen Brown was missed. Hopefully he'll return fresh tomorrow to play many minutes.

White was slipping a lot in those first half red shoes which should never be worn again.

The Celtics are giving Queta abundant opportunities. They're serious about seeing what they have in him.

The team finally won an overtime game.

Toronto tomorrow. No Horford. The home winning streak lives.

No way Luka gets pushed around like that. Luka's thicc.
Also Cade just straight up stops playing defense like he's Dlo.

Nice win.

Terrible 1st half. Very good second half, led by KP and White.

VC goes to KP and White. They brought it in the 2nd half and OT.
KP with 29 of his 35 in the 2nd half and OT. 13-21 from the field. White with 23, 5 and 4 and 2 blocks.

Meanwhile, Choker Tatum went 11-31 and missed about 9 of his last 10 shots. At least it seemed that way. 2-11 on 3s.
I keep telling people Tatum is a choker in close games. Not every game, but most games. I loved the 10 assists and 5 steals.

Al was pretty bad, outside of making those 2 3s. Jrue didn't have a good game either. Queta wasn't good either.

We got destroyed on the boards, 68-47.

I felt Joe and the coaching staff had an off night. Jrue was struggling and so was Al. I would have liked it if they gave Stevens some minutes for his defense and energy to give the team a spark. We played with little effort for most of that 1st half.

White's All-Star case gets stronger by the game. Porzingis should make it but he's missed a bunch of games already.

Considering Tatum is a notorious choker, I'm all for that. I want White, KP and Jrue with the ball in closing minutes of close games.
Last play of the 4th quarter with the game tied and coming out of a timeout, I was like please don't give Tatum the ball. Of course he missed the final shot, but at least it wasn't a step back 3 this time. He missed something like 8 or 9 of his last 10 shots.

It’s weird, his numbers are so much better when it’s a game tying shot.

I criticize JB for his lack of team play prior to this month. This team has more weapons than it's had in the Brad era. Tatum should get some heat too for his shot selection and lack of playcalling in critical situations. He shouldn't be beyond criticism. Part of the blame goes to Joe for enabling it. The top stars should be held to the highest standards imo. When we say, "he just wasn't making shots", it really means, "he's settling for too many shots that he hasn't made in a while." A pullup three from him right now is pretty much a wasted possession and hijacks whatever offensive momentum this team has.

Sad that Queta might not have been given anything If Kornet was not injured. Meanwhile, Binky or Not, I feel he is showing some real nice promise overall.

Tatum puts zero pressure on teams with his last second and last shots before a quarter. He's trash at them. In a one possession games he takes absolutely horrendous shots. Nobody will convince me other players couldn't generate better shots. Even as a decoy they would get better shots because he always takes the shot..often terrible ones.

I thought Jrue went into beast mode in the 2nd half. Made Cade's life miserable after halftime.
