Raps board seems to mostly love it. Knicks board does not. Both think more moves are coming.

So NYK didn't give up a single first? Considering RJ is a net negative and theirs no way Bronson and Quickly could ever be a starting back court. This is a fleecing by the Knicks.

I'm not sure how you can like this for Toronto. Barrett sucks and is locked into his contract for three more years after this one at roughly $28M per year while Quickley is going to be looking for a big new contract. OG should be perfect for the Knicks so they won't mind having to give him a big new deal.

Masai must really, really like Quickley.

I like it for Toronto. I’m very high on Quickley, and while I’m out on Barrett as an all-star, I still think he’ll be a very good player in a couple years and I think he’ll benefit from a lower pressure environment. Pairing two pretty talented 23 year olds next to Barnes is solid work.

Yeah, no. We would have given up on that dude 2 years ago if he was a Buck. He is dreadful and a classic negative contract player

Knicks were hardly using Quickley enough so in that sense being able to move him for a really good 2/3 who can defend and fits the team well makes a ton of sense. They’ll only regret this if Quickley immediately breaks out once getting more game time. Which of course is a big chance of happening.
