AD is on this great run offensively and its being completely undercut because nobody else is really playing all that well at that end

How much longer is Ham going to start two of the worst offensive players in the NBA together? While playing two of the worst defenders in the NBA together off the bench (one of whom he only benched to separate from the other because the combo wasn't working :banghead: )

This team being 17-16 is a joke considering the health of LeBron and AD, they are easily like 21-12 with a competent coach.

We are probably better off moving Reddish so Ham cant play him anymore

Team needs to hurry the **** up and make some moves

He has every right to be annoyed, seems like they've lost a lot of games due to weird reffing or due to other near-misses. Have to wonder where they go from here, seems like a legitimate third scorer (who can shoot) is needed.

Do we have enough for Trae Young? That is the type of guy I would move Reaves for

We need more shooting

I prefer Lavine to Dejounte Murray, also Lavine should cost little to no big assets

Letting Schroeder walk in order to pay DLo was so bad. Pelinkduh once again not identifying what made the team good. He’s so incompetent it hurts I legit think he doesn’t know basketball.

I understand that move. The idea was to replace Schroeder with Vincent and then have Russell next to him as someone who has both range and can step up as the 3rd option occasionally. Having two players with the same strengths isn't the best strategy usually - unless they are 3&D, which you can't have enough today.

The lineup of Russell, Reaves, Vando, AD and James was working quite well, so it was not unreasonable to think that either it will work this year as well or Vincent replaces Russell.

Schroeder is not a flawless player: he struggles against bigger guards and doesn't have a consistent 3pt shot. Having him out there with Reddish/Vando, Prince, Lebron and AD wouldn't work either.

If we make that move, there would be a bunch of posters calling Pelinka out why he has signed a drive-only guard when we are losing because of our lack of 3pt shooting (and spacing). How much better this would be if we would have Russell instead - at least he can shoot. The grass is always greener on the other side...

We would have needed quality 3&D players, the problem is that almost every team needs them, so their price is high and we didn't have much assets.

It's obivously a three but it doesn't change the fact that this offense is assecheeks and isn't going anywhere.

He’s also showing some playmaking progress as well with DLo sent to the bench. The Lakers, with this jumbo lineup of AD/James/Vando/Prince/Reddish, are taking the approach at the beginning of games to get as many touches as possible. In his last four games, AD has had games with 7 and 8 assists, basically right at his career high.

He usually gets into a groove and moves with fluidity somewhere in the regular season before something happens to him as he did last year as well. He was shooting and moving with great balance last night.

Look at 1:12 here—he faces up, spins away and finishes on the other side of the rim:

LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

NBA still trying to buck break LeBron a decade after LeDecision. Imagine how much better he'd look if he had a real star whistle

Valid take. That Post up attempt was awful tho. That possession was the Superbowl for MJ and Kobe fans to spam "no bag" tweets

It seemed like it was a play draw up for 2.4 seconds, which is how much time they had when he made his shot.

Ehh. That Cavs team was still really good with Blatt. The Lakers look more like last years Warriors.

-Continunity not mattering at all
-Young guards supposely making a leap and falling flat with terrible impact numbers despite production (Poole-Reaves)
-Terrible on the road.
