I have had to hear fireworks all day long, if Celtics didn't come through I was going to pay people to go door to door and throw cherry bmbs on people's front porch! I know it's New Year's, but all day is pushing it, especially knowing they're going to do it all day tomorrow too! I'm not in a sour mood but I'm not in a partying mood either, maybe I need to drink, then I won't hear the fireworks!

too bad I don't drink! :banghead:

Celtics reclaim the top point differential in NBA at 10.5!
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

With the way JB is playing I'm not sure we'll ever see Cave again.

It's not a fluke.

JB is finally getting it.

3rd quarter issues seemingly fixed. More proof that RealGM whining works.

Voted for Jaylen. Would be a HUGE boon to us if he keeps playing like he has the past several games.

Praying everyday this is for keeps. This really might be our year. With injuries being the big obstacle to a title. I don’t think any team beats us healthy in a 7-game series if we keep playing the way we have past few weeks.

This is not even the 100% best of the Celtics of 2023-24.

There's still room for improvement.

I truly believe the Cs we will be seeing in April and May will be better than the Cs we saw this December.

Damn Fencer straight to hell for bringing this post to my attention.

Friendly reminder that Jaylen quite possibly cost us the last two titles once real teams could gameplan for us in the playoffs. The Heat series was perhaps the worst series an reigning All-NBA player has ever had. But yeah, maybe we will meet the Spurs or Pistons in the Finals.

Honestly, I just hope we can somehow flip this dude for Curry this offseason lol.

We scored more in 3 Qtrs, than they did in 4.
Let's keep that Trend going.

Really fun win, think everyone played well.

Also gotta love the hypocrisy i’m seeing in this very thread. Celtics fans are a real special bunch, so much whining. Just enjoy the season lol.

This is the most consistent Celtics team. When they’re good, they’re great. When they’re off, they’re likely finding a way to win. It’s flat-out fun to watch.

Nice win.

VC goes to Brown and Tatum. Both were great. Brown with 24 points on 9-13 shooting, with 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.
Tatum with 25 points on 10-17 shooting, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks.

I really liked how Tatum played. I wrote the other day that he needs to let the game come to him and stop all the step back and side step 3s. That's exactly what he did in this game. He went 5-10 from 3 and all of them were in the flow, either catch and shoot or one dribble and shoot. None of that dancing around and stepping back or to the side with someone on in his mug.

White was very good. 17 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds in only 25 minutes. His blocks in a game came to an end, though.

Kornet, Hauser, and Pritchard all played well off the bench. Pritchard was great at finding the open man, with a team high 7 assists to go with his 9 points.

Al and Brissett were good. So was Queta and Stevens in limited minutes.

Props to coach Joe and the coaching staff.

Happy New Year!!

All of his 3-pt makes were assisted, the final one via screen assist from KP against the drop or whatever defense that was (2nd guy was nowhere near the arc, ran away from the play).
