Would really love for Philly to lose today so Dallas could get a home playoff game

Eagles are trash but the only fair thing would be if Dallas had to go to Detroit in the playoffs. So the Eagles need to win the division for the sake of justice.

Congrats on winning the nfc east. The cowboys are clearly the best team in the division right now, no question. 5 weeks ago I definitely wouldn’t say that but now, the eagles are complete **** and really don’t deserve to win the division to be honest.

NFC East
This eagles season is the weirdest season I’ve ever watched of any team that I root for in any sport. 5 weeks ago they had a very good offense and a very good defense and now I don’t know if I’d say they are even a top 20 team on either side of the ball.lol it’s **** weird. And at that point 5 weeks ago they were 10-1, had the most difficult schedule in the nfl to that point, and already beat 6 playoff teams and another win against a borderline playoff team in Minnesota.

When are the cowboys gonna go on a run? I mean even the clippers had their moments where they just went on a run and looked unstoppable.
The Cowboys have got to at least 1 time make a break through.
I think this has to be their time. They cannot suck forever can they? Detroit made a break through. So can the Cowboys

We still have to beat Washington, but the Cowboys track record against bad teams aside from Arizona is pretty good this year.Jaydubb wrote:Mamba42 wrote:Would really love for Philly to lose today so Dallas could get a home playoff game

The Eagles have completely melted down. They will need a get right game this week against the Giants. The defense needs to come alive again. They are just swiss cheese in the middle right now

It feels like it's mostly a defensive issue right now to me. LBs suck big time.Jaydubb wrote:This eagles season is the weirdest season I’ve ever watched of any team that I root for in any sport. 5 weeks ago they had a very good offense and a very good defense and now I don’t know if I’d say they are even a top 20 team on either side of the ball.lol it’s **** weird. lol no they didn’t
The issues that were there starting week 1 never left and got worse as their bodies wore down
Several beat reporters said that these issues were all over training camp, nothing was ever fixed. Everything just got worse

It’s coaching, moreso than anything. Some weeks it’s offense, some weeks it’s defense, it’s just mistakes, terrible situational management, terrible playcalling, turnovers
Just awful coaching

Honestly at 10-1 they were winning on talent but there were issues in the red zone, turnovers, getting behind in games and having to come back, terrible mistakes
This season feels worse because of 10-1 but it’s honestly just 2018 all over again. Aging team, everything that was working the year before no longer working. The assistant coaches being poached being a death knell in the coffin. Nothing ever being fixed
I’ll venture to say the eagles will probably barely miss the conference finals just like the 2018 team as well. They’ll fool us, the game will be close, and then like alshon tipping the ball up in the air for an interception something ridiculous will happen and they’ll lose.

I think they’re definitely past the point of get right game. Theyre just going to have to try to win some playoff games on talent. The issues haven’t been fixed for 17 weeks. They aren’t getting fixed. I said this after Seattle
After getting rolled by San Fran and Dallas I thought, it was a nasty schedule, they’re exhausted, if they come out and tighten up against bad teams they can turn it around and get right
They lost to Seattle in the exact same way they lost to Dallas and San Fran. The issues from training camp were still there. Nothing had changed. From that moment I was like yup, this is the season. It’s a sloppy mistake filled mess. It’s just not their year.
Gotta win what you can and regroup for next year and I’d seriously consider firing sirianni and everyone but stoutland. Bring in an offensive playcalling HC who can help Jalen make full use of his talent and the talent around him
Players shaking heads, the bottom falling out, nobody happy, mistakes everywhere
That’s a sign to me of a coach losing complete control of a season. And Jalen’s “regression” to me is all bad development and bad playcalling
Jalen needs a coach to utilize his strengths and put him in the best position to succeed. There’s whole twitter threads breaking down how bad Jalen’s options are against the blitz. How from just a philosophy and scheme standpoint the eagles have some of the worst blitz counter route combos of any team in the nfl. That’s horrible for a QBs development. And how the eagles routes take so long to develop and how the philosophy of the team is to just go for big plays and run nothing interesting schematically.
Eagles need to have howie and Jeff seriously look at a lot of what happened. Because there weren’t nearly enough injuries for the team to perform as badly as they have. Especially offensively

Re: NFC East
Seems the Eagles players are seriously dissatisfied with the coaching staff. Are they blaming the coaches for their failures? I’d like to know what the fans think.

It’s definitely coaching. No doubt in my mind. Personally I wouldn’t hate it if they fired everybody except Jeff stoutland.

Even Nick Sirianni? I thought Eagles fans loved him.

I’m starting to think nick sirianni is one of the biggest problems. I admit I think I was wrong about him

I never loved him. Doug Pederson is my one true love.
