The only person worth replacing him with is Stotts. I'm close to mentally checked out on this season and hoping h comes to his senses and goes somewhere intelligent in FA

Last week I was wondering about Joerger as HC with Stotts as AC.

He should have left after they blew up the title team. If not then certainly after the first Westbrook season. Can't believe he puts up with this incompetence. What exactly is so great about this franchise? They are completely inept

Lakers were mostly the best run team in the nba up until about 2012.

Yeah Jerry Buss was a Goat. Fakers are lucky Bron and Ad saved them b/c theyd have been deep in lotto for a decade if not and going on more

these new zoomer stars dont have the same reverence for Fakers as past superstars. La weather and city is one thing but franchise doesnt have same appeal it used to for drawing in superstars

Should have just stayed in Cleveland lol, the Lakers would legit have been a lottery team for over a decade by now if he had. Pistons West.

That Westbrook trade was a disaster. KCP is one of the best role players in the league and has blossomed even more in Denver.

Still think they're dangerous in the playoffs because of LeBron + AD, but they need to consolidate the roster somehow.

Pelinkduh had already messed up the 2020 team even before that. Worst GM ever  He's so bad I question if he's trying to lose sometimes. Hiring Ham was another classic Pelinkduh move.

Ham has to go.

Any decent coach would have this team at .600 or better given how LeBron and Davis are playing.

Continuing to have LeBron as the only ballhandler in the starting lineup is completely asinine.

Thoughts on trading Reaves+Rui+Vincent for Murray+GTJ?

2 things I don't understand. Why did they waste a pick for a guy who's years away from being a rotation player( if he'll make it)? And the timing of Vando's extension. Really don't get it

This roster is utter disgusting . It’s absurd to me that Prince on 4m maybe the most reliable nba lvl guy and I get why ham plays him too much.

Guys paid 3-6th are all one dimensional n useless not even good enough in that one dimension . Dlo hit start to the year msde then look ok.

2 CLEAR TOP 10 guys by epm /Lebron every metric and not one player in the top 100. Reaves defence regression n offensive flaws being picked on , Rui being a blackhole on offence who’s good for nothing and injury prone , Dlo is Dlo , vando unplayable offensively passed out of wide open dunkd ( Rui can’t hit non wide open dunks euther ). , Gabe another Kendrick Nunn case. At this point it looks like a Westbrook lvl of bad contracts . My only hope is how excellent Bron n AD are n have been. .500 with two top ten guys mostly heakthy is a crime but Pelinka has ultimate job security thx to Jeanie . Ham people blame but you can tell he’s trying ANYTHing : this is like Vogel bad lineups cos he didn’t have two way players or wings. Nobody notice that pattern ? I don’t trust Rob to fix it I think it might be time for Bron and Ad to ask out n let the lakers become the new pistons of the nba. Caruso isn’t a starter lvl player and yet he’s better than anyone on this entire roster it’s embarrassing. If dejounte nurray, a 3nD wing and a backup big ( gafford /goga) is available psy everything you feasibly can for them
Or just give up you wasted a potential all time duo with awful moves ( and injurues ). Could’ve had Conley then flipped into Jrue or harden alone over Dlo just in the last 6 months it’s crazy how bad of a choice Rob makes each time . ( Dlo traded for Conley NAW and 3 seconds - naw would be our best wing it’s **** sickening man ).

Naz Reid Is on 41m/3years Rui is on 51m/3 years : they both oksy similar roles n positions the gap in quality is huge Reid would be third best guy here n is the 8th man for 3-8 for wolves all better then our3.

Vincent has terrible knees and is out 6-8 weeks as he gets his knee cleaned out. I would be surprised if he plays > 50% of games on his contract (3 years).

Small guards with injury kneee issues don’t last . Especially when they are from Miami who run these undrafted guards into the ground just to make them okdysbke nba players as they lack raw talent. I miss Dennis sigh even tho he couldn’t shoot or pass to AD

Same here most mentally checked out I’ve been. They don’t have a rich owner either the clippers n others will get that benefit . They have nothing going for them but history . Not like Brad stevens is some unique genius everyone says I wanted porzingis as a stretch big with AD and ofc jrue ; which had he kept sakary n not been obsessed with being able to let go of sakary they’d have sakary to trade fir jrue. Derrick white I give them credit for cos his damn how did he know he’d be this good. They also do a great job of trading away good players just before they decline and somehow fleecing the league . Getting kyrie for the corpse of IT who Cavs could’ve asked for way more for after medicals. Or moving smart as he declined .

It’s sad because I’m not delusional but I’m 100% convinced I would’ve made far less awful moves as gm then Pelinka and I’m fully aware of how that sounds absurd to type out but I’ve been right about so many of his failures at this point . He values names over numbers n fit , last in 3ot attemots on a Bron team lmao with Bron as the best shooter embarrassing man. His best teams were barely competent and had poor shooting and no one to run offence when Bron sat. AD injury over shadowed that suns dared shooters that series n they shot 20% on wide open threes outsude lebron. Good chance that they don’t shoot well enough without the bubble to stop teams packing the paint on Bron n AD. I can’t even stand waiting till January 15th. They had so many decent opportunities to get good players from the Westbrook mistake n failed on all accounts it’s just awful to see.

They had the worst acerage record in the league for 5 years before he arrived. Hilariously bad . No Jerry west no dr buss. They’ve literally lost so many competent n food role players you coukd make a great team out of them . Sad

Derrick White was easy. Anyone following rapm based stats would know that he was good. I swear Brad just goes for decent RAPM/LEBRON/EPM guys and it works.

Anyway, Pelinka has fumbled a lot of opportunities.. the Lakers current team isn't awful, it's just poorly structured in rotation.

A few rules:
- Reaves should always play with Davis on court
- Wood can only play with LeBron on court
- Reddish need to play SG to be impactful
- Vando and DLo are a good combo, they've played a lot together.
- each lineup needs a guard and wing defender.
- each lineup needs 2 of DLo, Reaves, LeBron

It gives you a few choices for rotations, nothing too hard about them

Davis and Reaves are paired.
LeBron plays with Wood while Davis and Reaves rest.

Here is a simple representation of two lineups that fit the rules
24 mins: Reaves, Reddish, Prince, LeBron, Davis
24 mins: DLo, LeBron/Reaves, Vando, Rui, Wood/Davis
