Kentucky guards you can pretty much bank on them being certified ballers

Scottie was playing tertiary to Pascal and Fred.

Quickley was playing quaternary to Brunson, Randle, RJ

Now we get to see how Pascal looks playing tertiary to Scottie and Quickley (I hope)

I'm fully expecting him to start for probably another week or 2 until they get better integrated.

they're clowns if they do this tbh, quickley is so far ahead of schroder this shouldnt be a thing

Mobley and Garland are both out. Let's start the new year right so we can forget about that horrible loss!

If Garland and Mobley are both out, we will win no doubt.

Fake win though, but what do I know?

Cavs have been on a run since they've both been out so I wouldn't get too confident about that lol

Yeah, Raps also have a tendency to lose to teams missing their starters when their 3rd stringers light us up.

I'll take any wins at this point - fake or real :D.

Gotta keep your expectations low, this is the Raps after all.

Let's all remember that IQ's shot has already disappeared by virtue of being on the Raptors.

Actually I’d support a temp ban of all images of OG in a Knicks uniform.

What system? It's a situation where our existing guys will have to learn to play with talent.

Our offensive system? Our defensive rotations? Aka things 99% of this board have no clue about when watching basketball.

Must be the case with our announcers then, because many would know of that by now if it was recognizable and spoken about. The system is to pray that someone is going to receive a divine revelation about what to do when they have to act.

Our offense this year has actually been alright outside of the fact we cannot shoot, but our sets and playcalls have all been there.

I feel like you guys have never played basketball before  playing on a brand new team always is weird at first, even more-so at the professional level where there is a ton more organization in what the team does. Quickley/Barrett right now won't know our out of bounds plays well, half court sets well, etc. Playing them off the bench probably is to their advantage right now as it would give them more freedom to freestyle in lineups and points in the game where we can survive that kind of stuff.

We might still end up closing the game with one or two of them, but we are going to see some real sloppy ball if they start unless we reduce the playbook to simple pick and roll / hand-off game (or post up space out for Siakam/Barnes).

I still want Quickley to be our starter - but I can see the rationale for him being a sixth man for a week or so. Barrett I think should be a bench guy

That's what assistant coaches should be for. We got like 15 of them, wtf are they doing? Lol

Don't gotta waste a roster spot on a dude who doesn't play ever when we can give looks to guys like Porter, JFL, etc.

I just wish he wasn't eating a roster spot.

This game comes down to which team handled NYE in White Vegas better and we'll know within the first five possessions.

Do we really need 12 guys repeating "Pass it to Dennis" ???? I guess so!!!

IQ: OG, who do I pick up in transition? Should I haul ass and try to make a play at the rim regardless?
Temple: I'm not sure, but you should inbound it to Dennis.

Pascal is scoring 21.9 on 51% from the field this year… he’s also getting to the line 5.8 times per game and shooting 75%?from there. If anything wuickley and company will be complimentary to him. At least now when he draws defenders and passes it out, it’s to guys that can actually make something happen with the ball. Forcing him to play 3rd fiddle to young unestablished players, especially when he’s playing well on his current role is stupid. People act like siakam has been struggling all season. This fan base is **** weird. It’s not like he’s forcing bad shots either. The guy almost has as many apg as Scottie who this board touts as a passing savant who often defers to others too much. And yet a guy who is apparently so selfish is averaging almost the same amount of apg, and has carried the offence and is the only player on this team that can reliably be called on to get a bucket when necessary.
