Can't say I'm really surprised about what's happening today. The evidence has been there for over 2 weeks now.

Re: Game 32 Timberwolves @ Knicks 1-1-24 record 24-7
We still might come back to win this game, we certainly have the talent to do so but this game is a prime example of why I still can't fully get behind this team as a true contender. The mental maturity and discipline is my biggest question and to the teams credit, it has been there for the majority of the season, it has been the difference maker but I very much question if we will have that through the entirety of the playoffs.
Lacking that and you combine that with a medicore offense, you will go nowhere, you can get bounced in the first round.
You absolutely cannot play this sloppy, you can't turn the ball over like we have, you can't get this upset over calls, or fall over, and give up easy plays. You can't make these many mistakes and let them pile up in games because good teams will capitalize and bury you.
If we do lose this game it will be well earned. This is not good team basketball at all. The players have really lost the plot and something has to change because this is a dramatic fall off from the discipline level we were seeing a few weeks ago, it's been a problem for several games but we have managed to scrape through.
We play like this, we are cooked and going nowhere.

And we are not making their defense work or adjust even a little bit.
They stop our first action and we fall apart like a bunch of little kids.
Worst effort I have seen from the team this year.
This one has been coming for a while.
My word can't even box out and grab a free throw rebound.
Play shake!
LETS GO WOLVES!!!

It's been bad since he tweaked his knee a handful of games ago.

Shocking what happens when Minnesota plays a real Point Guard, when Mike Conley is not on the court.

Jordan comes in and is already making plays. Probably need to give him significant burn here just to see.

Ant has to take a break after the quarter, need to make our move, now or never.

Get a few big stops and big buckets and we could be back in it. Ouch that three was huge from the Knicks though.

I’ll give Towns a break because he’s been off since the knee, makes me think he’s not 100%. But we NEED to move Anderson. We need shooting and a backup PG, badly, if we’re going to do anything in the playoffs. If Anderson shooting is killing us now, it’ll only get worse when teams game plan around it during series’.

if KAT's knee is bothering him, even more of a reason he should be taking these open 3s rather than driving to the basket instead

If we win it I'll organize a dinner at my expense for the entire twolves forum..

Sixteen point game is absolutely winnable, but the team needs to play with spacing and pace. Anything Edwards can’t be benched for long at the start of the quarter.

I know Thibs is a good coach and knows his stuff, but the constant barking at his players has got to be absolutely mentally exhausting for them.
I really really do NOT miss that as a fan.

Good to see Rudy with a drop step. KAT would’ve been called for a hook on that. Keep it up, fellas.

Knicks don't really have the wings/guards to punish Conley/JMAC playing together
actually would be to Wolves advantage for Knicks to try to go at those two, rather than running normal offense
Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
