Happy New Year to all the guys/girls on the forum! Dang, it's been a while!
I feel this is gonna be a blowout win if Kristaps plays to match Holmgren.
Also, we're the best team in the league, if we don't win it all cause of an unadequate coach this year, I'm gonna lose my ****, seriously.

The player you have to stop is SGA, not Holmgren. OKC also plays defense, unlike the Spurs.

Win or lose the Celtics had a great December.

Last time the Cs were this good in December was back in 2007-08.

Getting a win in OKC would be icing on the cake.

I think it's 50-50.

If the Cs do win this game, a 13-3 January record would certainly be possible.

Even the 2007-08 Celtics lost 5 games in January.

OKC is very good. But if we play ''team ball" like we have been, I expect a talented but young team like OKC to falter. But they do have a great home crowd so we will see.

Would love to see the Celtics rip off like 10+ wins in a row. Feels like it’s been awhile since we last did that. Probably the toughest game of the season to date but the Celtics are insanely good when the starting 5 is healthy (15-1). Took both Jays playing one of their worst games together on the road against the Sixers only to lose by 3 with a wide open Porzingis miss.

Crunch time has sadly been our bane. I feel as if in crunch time, ball should be in Drew or White's hands. Cause they make the best decisions. Brown and Tatum go full ISO way too often.

I know Okc has a ton of owed picks, but are there any of those that are actually really good? I mean, outside of late lotto kind of good?

Not really. They are either protected until late lotto or belong to teams that while not championship contenders won't really be early lottery pick odds teams, like the Philly 2026 pick or the Clippers 2025 and 2027 swaps.
Maybe the Clippers 2027 swap will be good but the chances of any team hitting on these unprotected picks like the Celtics did is low.

Yeah that was my thought. I suppose it's possible you hit big with so many swaps etc. but does that really transfer if you send 2-3 over to another team.

Overall seems like a team that's due for a bit of an offensive regression imo, some of the shooting %s don't seem super sustainable.
