I mean maximizing your chance to win with your roster ain’t crazy.

Treating 2nd round of playoffs as the ultimate goal is sad

The Knicks didn’t trade all of their assets and, if the 2nd round was the ultimate goal, we wouldn’t have made any trades.

There is no title contention without the type of stuff that Anunoby provides. Try guarding the Tatums, Browns, Butlers, Giannis, Middletons of the league with Hart and Barrett.

Pretty damn good. You could see we probably need more scoring but the effect on the defense was instant, stark and PROFOUND.

We are clearly not done. More is to come. Probably starting with Murray.

Just watched the highlights. Surprised how young OG looks. Is he RJ's age?

Murray's not a good fit. But we might do it to include him in a trade for Donovan Mitchell.

Love this trade. Anyone else seeing some similarities to our starting 5 to the Billups' Detroit Pistons that won a chip?

Brunson our steady point guard to amp it up in the clutch; Julius our X factor Rasheed Wallace who argues to the refs too much and takes off on certain plays, but has the ability to kick it up a gear; DiVincenzo our Rip (although the days of mid-range shooting are long gone) who can make offensive plays without needing to dominate the ball; Mitch our defensive anchor and offensive rebounding machine like Ben Wallace -- and just as limited offensively as Ben; and then finally the missing piece that had eluded us, our lockdown wing defender who can guard multiple positions like Tayshaun Prince did. Honestly, as understated as Tayshaun's role was, the Pistons don't win a chip without shutting down all the elite wing players, and we needed the same.

As a flip piece for Mitchell its an extremely interesting part of the potential trade as well. Wonder if LA gets involved in trying for Murray.

I don't know who to feel more offended for, Julius Randle or Rasheed Wallace

If this is the last move, then Rose should get fired, but luckily we have a bunch of picks and an FO and coach that disrespects the draft, so we're good

As Knicks fans, we know RJ is about to go on a tear. Possibly for the rest of his career.

when has that ever happened ? every young guy who mostly sucks here, mostly sucks in their next stop too

Obi was good until he wasn’t. Knox is Knox, and we wouldn’t let Cam back on a vet min. Enes got worse. Portis and KP found good roles.

Hope we trash the Bulls on Wednesday so we can start climbing back up to the mid-playoff seeds. Hardest part of the schedule is over; we should hit 50 wins this season I expect.

He's a few months younger than DDV and a year younger than Brunson.

RJ shooting 50% is good for you. He's very up and down and you'll need greater consistency from him than he showed with us.
