Geez you'd be a horrible GM

Kindly, you don't really know what you're talking about with your '"maxing out your payroll" remarks given how many contracts the Magic have that are expiring this summer.

They could have signed FVV for the exact same contract he got this past summer in lieu of signing Ingles and then had money in the summer of 2024 for more guys as Fultz, Isaac, Gary, Chuma and others come off the books.

The bench/rotation still needs fortifying, lol... You're okay with having the bench only having Cole and Mo coming off of it?

Looking like it. We don't have the offensive power to compete with Sacramento and Denver appears to be fully healthy again.

should be obvious to anyone with a brain that we need to upgrade our guardplay....we're not going to the next level as is

At the very least, management can do a non-flashy splash like Tyus Jones who we can probably get for 2 2nds

Just something for us to see some more of the real potential of this team with better guard play and spacing

i dont see it as a problem, if an old guy that can run an offense and hit open 3s makes our offense 10x better.

then why isnt management waking up and unloading a huge package to get shooters/guards that are vets.

I mean the writing is on the wall, we have 2 legit guys. That is it, everyone else should be up for grabs if it leads to an upgrade in opening the floor for them.

I am sick and tired of watching us get zoned and doubled with no lead guards.

Stick FVV in as the starting lead guard means you're able to bring Black or Suggs off the bench.

The only guy you wouldn't have is Ingles and his playmaking wouldn't be all that necessary with FVV here.

Both teams were 13-35 from 3. But our 16 turnovers really stood out to me tonight. We just consistently cough up possessions every night. This team needs better point guard play in the worst way.

A major one. I would argue that he's our only PG on the roster. I have no clue what AB is at the moment to count him for anything.

Since that Boston, Heat, and 76ers game, I think I knew but it’s so hard to say that we need a trade because I am attach to this group. I think what I have come to realize is that there is no “wait until we’re healthy”. No one is coming healthy.

I feel bad for Suggs. Great all year and these two games are gonna kill his averages.

fateis007 wrote:it really is time for management to wake the **** up, realize they have 2 stars, and put some shooters around them. i mean my god, we have no one that can create space for paolo/franz.

They dont even trust their teammates right now and are just taking turns playng 1 on 1.

if i were management, i would be doing nothing but focusing on creating space for those guys, because they are being double teamed all game long and zoned.

I pity the fools watching magic's 4th quarters. It's a pain in the *** every single time we run the same isos uptemo no system scheme, just like watching varsity games. It's painful for real

The sad thing is, I suspect this is how Weltman feels as well.

Suggs just lost like 10 possessions. He took shots that had no shot and terrible turnovers.

You could see it wearing on Franz. I seriously think Banchero would only defer to a big name and Tyus Jones isn't it. He dribbles the ball way too much for my liking. That needs to change.

They technically won because of free throws this game because of the late game baskets.. but turnovers and guard play was an issue.

I would say Warriors are elite and we can't compete, but they are on pace to miss playin
