I just find it kind of weird to start AB and then just pull him from the rotation entirely.

Cole and Suggs have had a pretty bad stretch of the last few games. I don’t think Jett is the answer either if Gary is soaking up minutes with Houstan playing some minutes too.

I think the Front Office needs to do their job.

Stick FVV in as the starting lead guard means you're able to bring Black or Suggs off the bench.

The only guy you wouldn't have is Ingles and his playmaking wouldn't be all that necessary with FVV here.

FVV given his size and diminishing defensive ability would hurt what the Magic would do defensively. Offensively they would be better but given that Fred is strictly a 3 point shooter who isn't the strongest finisher/penetrator the money for paying that guy 40 million doesn't make sense to me.

Honestly to me you add him to the team as constructed now there wouldn't be much of a difference.

Now you're willing to dismantle an elite bench and for only solid production. That to me doesn't make any sense trade off wise.

You keep trying to point the finger at Mosley, but our team doesn't have the personnel to run PnR's to an effective degree. We struggle with even throwing post entry passes to Paolo.

The fact we even have a winning record with the players we have offensively, and absolutely no shooting is pretty remarkable

Who you should be pointing the finger at is management.

He's literally allowed to do nothing. Do people think he got a scholarship at Arkansas for giving the ball up and parking himself in a corner?

Mosley has guys playing out of position on the whole floor to let Banchero dribble the ball.

We have the worst backcourt in the league. I wouldn’t bat an eye if they got rid of everyone but Paolo and Franz. Get some shooters and guys who aren’t in street clothes all season. This “young core” is overrated. :nonono:

I can already hear Coach start off with his coined phrase where he states what went wrong but you have to give credit to *insert team name here*

Tell me why? What's the reasoning behind it? They got away with Klay Thompson and Kuminga on Banchero. Banchero should have been working one side of the floor from the low block. He can play make from there too. They did a couple of times.. it worked.. one bucket and two free throws and then instead Wagner out by the hash mark forced a pass into Banchero who can't catch it.. over and back. But blame the shooting.

It was there all night. I agree with you. If not to score, he will at least draw defenders which will open up cutting lanes and/or open looks for 3 (not our best strength). It's much better than have Franz or Paolo ISO against a set defense that has the paint shrunk.

Kid played 10 mins and never came back into the game. I don’t even need to look at the box score to know that.

When Paolo was struggling offensively at the beginning of the season he was making faster reads, now he’s back to pounding the ball. I don’t get it.

Diminshing defense, yet he's playing great defensively and Houston is ranked 6th in the league

Saying adding him wouldnt make much of a difference is just a lie.

He shoots 39% from 3 with 7.6 attempts per game. That would do wonders to our team.

our guard rotation tonight, 9 of 31 shooting, 6 assist, 6 turnovers

4 guards, 6 assist.

haliburton just had 25 assist by himself a few games ago.

there is a reason we look so much better with ingles out there in the pick and roll, he is literally a better point guard option ( out of position ), then our actual guards

He’s not allowed to do anything because he’s got no offensive game outside of cutting to the basket and the occasional wide open three.

Both Cole and Suggs can't slump at the same time.

That Jalen Suggs TO was a killer. Curry then made a 3 to increase the lead to 7 with 2 minutes to go. If we made a basket in that possession, it is a 2 point game. Sometimes one possession can change the entire game.

Plus Franz needs to be more aggressive. He doesn't need to pass up those balls when he is in possession. He just need to straight up attack the hoop and that is the most efficient shot.

Plus Cole hasn't been the same 6th man of the year Cole. He needs to wake up.

Our Guard play is a killer both Phoenix and Golden State. If we want to compete, we need either a wake up call or a trade

We're the worst 3 pt shooting team in the NBA in an era where 3 pt shooting is more important than ever.

We really can only do so much. The paint is packed against most teams and our players are young and still learning how at protecting the ball on drives/paint. This is a recipe for more turnovers

He'll help in the respect that he'll give them another ball handler that they need.

But he obviously will make the 3PT shooting, which is already the worst in the league, even worse than it is now and he's also not really going to help the turnovers that much as he's a relatively high turnover player himself.

He can help reduce the 9 TOs Paolo and Franz had tonight by handling the ball.
