And we still lost.

I mentioned this in the previous game thread. So much of the offense is just give it to Paolo and hope something good happens. Not saying running through Paolo is not a good thing but that just can't be only the option.

Hard to cut or pass when opponent has 4+ players clogging the paint, that is a turnover generating machine unless the ball goes back to perimeter.
It was clear weeks ago that Franz and Paolo have no trust in their teammates shooting the long ball. They both are very capable passers and passing out of double teams should be easy incremental improvement in their game.
Newsflash to anyone not understanding that shooting is causing all kinds of issues: if Nuggets were to play 3 non-shooters next to Jokić and Murray they would be about as good as we are now, suffering same problems.

Looking to me like Ingles was the Wizard behind the curtain, making the second unit flow and Cole look his best.
Ingles seems to enjoy his role on the coaching staff but we need him back out there

Issue is, Ingles retires in very near future, who to target to mimic Jingles, who isn't near 40 y.o.

Point was the same,It Is the same and Will Always be the same: you want an Nba team built around a second and a third Nba year player be a contender and win basically every game.
And every loss It Is basically a reckoning when everyone not in the rookie contract Is guilty, any veteran, coaching staff, ref, front office guy, ecc.
A rookie,a sophomore ,Two 3rd year and a third string center, but Hey they Lost to suns and Warriors, lets's **** on everyone else around the team* cause our absurd expectations were not matched, because you know,we have New Lbj and new KD and Is not acceptable to not be a Total juggenaught.
*Btw,Also guys that have bene crucial for our record until now, line bench players that carried US so many times and Mosley and his staff.

Agreed…Ingles could be considered an experiment. Now we can see where we need to invest more heavily in a younger high BBIQ guy. Also concerning that our guys look so bad without him. I think that’s who they really are.
I like your idea of ATL Bogey. FVV would have had similar effect on starters…HOU success is all about vet leadership on court

Did anyone suggesting Bogi lookup his total of games played in last 5 seasons?

At some point the Front Office has to do their job and make roster decisions while the clock is ticking with Paolo and Franz.
You and I have been harping on this for 6 months straight.
Cap space and cap flexibility, while very nice to have compared to the alternative, are both finite.
Weltman is going to have to stop sitting on his hands at some point and it's sooner than some of y'all think.
It’s been glaringly obvious to a lot more than two people…if they sleepwalk through the TD again…I’d be getting pissed off if I’m Paolo. He whines about refs, but it’s his own FO office that’s shackling him. I don’t blame guys that can’t shoot for being bad shooters. I’m turning towards the idea that Suggs might be best with Cole on second unit. I’m way past the idea that Suggs/Black is nowhere near a viable starting backcourt…manic defensive intensity looks exciting, but isn’t sustainable for months and isn’t really a real thing…no team is actually getting “locked down” to the extent that you can win games without offensive play.

A guy that scores 0-5 in nearly every game but 1 isn’t ready to be a regular NBA rotation player unless he’s doing something else at an otherworldly level…12 assists, 5 blocks, 8 steals?
Take a step back and reconsider what we are seeing here.

Black is starter only in name, he is playing low backup minutes.

21 mpg. I didn’t call him a starter…Cole’s not a starter either. I guess we don’t have one.

Tough loss in a way typical for a young team. Too many mistakes and rushed shots offensively. The defence was pretty mediocre too.
To be fair, Paolo made two threes in the last minute when the game was already over as a contest, without them they outshot us by a bit from 3. But a virtual draw in this area was still obviously a good result for us, we lost because of other factors - bad offensive execution down the stretch, turnovers, poor defense inside, too many missed layups.
That talk showed how dumb the criteria for 6th man of the year is, Cole was the third best bench player on his own team, both Ingles and JI were better if you actually watched the game and not just the PPG in the boxscore. But he scored the most PPG on our bench unit and the bench was doing great, so he got 6th man of the year hype.
