Really makes you wonder how much better our team would've been under 12 if he took the same approach instead of forcing, at times, to 17.

The only time he didn't force to 17 was when 17 was injured.

I loosely remember us having maybe the best offense in the league while Adams was out.

Interesting that none of his incentive targets are advanced stats, only QB rating and raw numbers.
He's got a couple million reasons to beat the Bears. It's pretty small dollars compared to his next contract though.

I doubt agents or the player pay much attention to things like EPA and things like PFF ranking is subjective. A little surprised QB rating was used because that's kind of a bunk stat but not surprised at all they used totals because those reward for both durability and performance.

Winston is such a weird player, he's like 4-5 bad decisions per game away from being a HoF caliber guy.

But the debate for me is still what matters more, raw stats or advanced? I'd say context and contract matter but I'm not really sure.

I don't think it's really that the counting stats are better, just a lot simpler thing to use for an incentive.
