You coulda asked Jon, he'll tell ya lol
It's not my fault the NBA considers someone 4 hours from the arena "in-market", sorry not driving a nearly 500 mile round trip on a work night to watch a Cavs game in person.
I've watched hundreds of NBA games this season, the NBA just blacks out games for paying customers on the streaming service they provide.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Nah, when you mentioned you'd be able to watch games this season I just assumed that meant you'd be getting to watch more Cavs games.
Sorry to hear that's not the case.
Once upon a team being "in market" meant you could watch the games with a TV antenna.
When i had league pass like nearly a decade ago, that is what it meant. So idk if they expanded who was "in-market" for the Cavs since then or if the league pass rules just changed.
I was gonna get that only Cavs game app but price is still too high for me to want to invest, jbk was having issues with it at the start of the season, and Bally filed bankruptcy.
I have an antenna but i only get broadcast channels (CBS, ABC, NBC, and Fox). So i can watch like every NFL game besides non-local Thursday night games. 1pm and 4pm games are on CBS or Fox, SNF is on NBC and MNF is on ABC as an ESPN offering. So, i think the NFL has figured out a much better way to make viewing access free and easy for their fans. The NFL also did away with local market blackouts a few years back. So, I can't get Bally Sports because it's a cable channel, not offered over the airways.
The 2 Cavs games i have watched this season were via the TNT Overtime app, so behind the basket camera angle and no commentary.
