At 31? Reed is going to end up being a lotto pick

I wonder if Orlando would do #19, Ingles and Okeke for #31 and Trent?

Maybe Filipowski falls. Centers who look weak defensively sometimes do. Nobody seems to get excited about picking a backup center in the 20s.

If not a shooting big, the obvious target is a 2 of some kind to replace Trent.

My guess is Masai and Bobby still hate this draft and we move the pick for a top 20 protected pick in a future draft if that's possible. And if not, maybe a wild off the board pick which could of course be a Caboclo, a Siakam or a Norm.

We would be a turnstile defensively though. I didn’t mind Flip with the defensive style team we had before, but with this roster a Myles Turner style Centre is the best fit. A guy like Kel’el Ware or the kid from Kentucky who isn’t allowed to play

That's the sort of calculation that might see Flip fall to us. I haven't seen enough of him to have a sense of how bad he is on defense (seems like people say he's okay in the P+R, just not a shot blocker). Duke being 58th on D is kinda ugly, though.

I guess the argument/theory would be that Flip-Siakam-Barnes-Barrett-Quickley makes some sense, though I'm getting Demar/JV pick and roll flashbacks from that Barrett/Flip combo seeing that RJ's foot speed isn't great on that end.

Masai doesn't seem to like Flip types, so it's probably time to start scouting uh, Trentyn Flowers and other wild cards.

Another intriguing big is Branden Carlson from Utah. He’s a 5th year so this would have to be an UDFA, but I like how he shoots it. And he dunks everything around the rim, none of this soft lay in garbage.

Jak has been a good player in the NBA for 7 years. If you can get 7 good years out of an UDFA I see that as a win.

Of the players currently ranked near pick 31 I'm really interested in Poplar, Oweh, Ivisic, Smith, and Brazile for the Raptors. If we get a later pick or UDFA I'll add McCain, Murrell, Sallis, Robinson, Bal.

I can picture either of these guys being a flamethrower off the bench with enough size to play off the ball next to Quickley in some lineups.

Kentucky played a super soft out of conference schedule. Let's see how their guys do in conference play.

I was watching some videos of him yesterday. Seems like a smart, high IQ player. He might be too slow for the NBA tho. Def someone I would take a good look at if he goes undrafted.

Was available cheap last draft. Don't see lottery but late 1st is possible. Scarcity matters.

If the raps are looking for a rotation player. His kid looks good. Unfortunately looks like he is on the rise.

Biggest question coming into his sr season was his scoring and he is putting up 20pg. Very good rebounder and defender.

He was projected to be a 2nd Rd pick. Hopefully his age scares ppl away.

If he can do this in actual games he's absolutely a 1st round pick.
