I do think he'd like a few more. He has a pull-up in the lane, and you've seen him attack the rim in both games.

It's gonna be a concern soon, especially for back to backs if Brunson, Randle and OG continue to log heavy minutes just because the bench can't get anything going on offense and either lose the lead or fall behind by a lot.

Well the guard rotation was the worst in the league before IQ.

I agree with this.

We dont need an inefficient chucker off the bench.

We do need another playmaker at least though. McBride is bad on offense and stagnates. Grimes just catches and shoots and attacks a closeout sometimes.

Malcolm Brogdon come over.

Brogdon would be great. But Sexton isn't an inefficient chucker. He's consistently near 60% TS.

Also, plenty of champions had bench guys who basically just got buckets.

Vinnie Johnson
Corliss Williamson
Mo Williams
Speights and Barbosa
Portis
Kukoc

The list goes on. It's a pretty common role.

Trade lust gone wild.

Leon clearly has the chips to bolster the roster, but he’s also proven himself to be patient and cautious. If another deal is coming this season it will almost certainly be right up against the deadline, so keep your powder dry and just enjoy the next month or so.

Randle and Brunson are going to put on a damn show. Enjoy it. Maybe one of our young guys or role players steps up and surprises. Sh*t look at Hartenstein. Give it a minute.

Grimes is still too tentative. For a guy who complained about not getting enough shots, he sure doesn't take advantage of opportunities and become more aggressive. I'm disappointed in him this season. You can't always just take what the defense gives you. You sometimes have to force the issue. McBride is the same way. They would miss a shot or two and lose confidence, then start overpassing to the point where somebody is forced to shoot a bad shot. The bench does need a playmaker if they don't step up.

We need someone who can share the floor with Brunson. Otherwise, this player will average only 15 minutes in regular season and less than 10 in the playoffs.

It might not be common, but sometimes trades actually do end up helping both teams

Sabonis for Haliburton is a good example

This even follows a similar format. Indy had two strong centers. Sac had two strong point guards

Toronto was forward heavy. We were guard heavy.

I think for the time being, we should dust off Fournier and just run him at the PG. He can at least play off PnR and once he's back in some rhythm, he can score for us. McBride is a nice player but hes a wing, not a lead guard. Might be worth considering instead of getting Jordan Clarkson for 1-2 picks.

Fair enough but back in real life, Leon better wait til right up against the deadline if all he’s gonna do is trade for support staff.

I’m excited to see who proves themselves between now and then

Raps fan here. OG is so good and I'm thrilled he's in a market where his defense will get the recognition it deserves. I think he's the best 1v1 defender in the league. 1-5, he can defend them all and basically lock them up sans a few. The only people I've seen "cook" OG is Cade (multiple times), Tatum can make some tough shots vs him and really big dominating centers like Jokic and Embiid. He can still hang with them but he does give up some size. Guys like Demar and Donovan Mitchell get absolutely smothered and shut down by OG. "grats Knick fans, and we definitely enjoy IQ too! Finally a competent guard that can shoot. win win. Best of luck to ya'll
